before saying they won't why don't you actually see WHAT actually happens

 referencing what?

Why don't you wait and see what happens before you announce he will be backed?

The evidence of history leans heavily in favour of RF99 being right. So if you're fine to say he will be backed, RF is certainly allowed to say he won't be.

I haven't announced he will be backed but I gave my opinion.  I said " I reckon he will be back"

Yup - back on the managerial scrap heap before too long.

The FACT is that none of the recent managerial incumbents have been supported by the ownership even when the club was (often miraculously) in a decent position to kick on in January for a push towards play-offs or automatic promotion.

How the process will operate with the club dangerously poised over the trap door at the other end of the table remains to be seen, but if last summer's chaotic and confusing clusterfuck is continued, I think we are in for a very bitter and disappointing time, come the January sales.

The signs are all there:

  • Talk of recalling junior players from lower league loans to cover holes in the senior squad
  • The manager making ridiculous noises about forgoing signings so the club can afford the alternative of giving the pitch a facelift
  • Zero (nada, niet, zilch, sod all, nuthhhhhin) from the club about plans to strengthen the squad from outside
  • The relative prominence being given to U18, U21 performances in club 'news' (although that might just seem more prominent because there is feck all to celebrate from the senior squad perspective)
  • No ambition, no strategy, no clear plan, no character and (critically) NO MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE at the club.

It all adds up to one thing, and one thing only - Robinson fucking Crusoe.

I despise the Indian fuckwits and their knobhead two-faced incompetent henchboys.

We all might need to be, before too long. That, or the football equivalent of morphine.

I suppose there is ambiguity in terms of what counts as being backed.

If he thinks a couple of loans and another cheapo from abroad for a small fee and tiny wages is being backed, at any point in January, then he may well be "backed."

How much do you think he will be backed with in the transfer market?

Depends on the player and deals are you looking at.

Plus how early you get them and are they your 1st/2nd choices to sign

I know that. But you reckon he will be backed so I'm curious to know what you think what the budget will be.

Its the same question again. Lets see who we sign and we see if he has been back then or not.

No its not the same question, stop treating people with such contempt whenever they ask you a question. Every club has a budget, I'm asking what you think Rovers will be....an average let's say.

You say you reckon he'll be backed in your opinion and then quickly retract and say 'lets see if he's backed'. Those are two very different statements. Talking in riddles again.

You’re asking a man who relies on faith to give you an answer based on facts.

Possibly unfair and not particularly charitable to fellow human beings (who have moved to a madhouse club in a foreign country) but am I the only one that would swap De Neve and Gueye for a working drainage system?

Presumably when nobody comes in January, hierarchy just talks of Litherland, Atcheson and Pratt as the new project.

O'Riordan left out of the Doncaster squad today signalling his likely return

they will each be like a new signing 😉

I don't know what Rovers' budget is. I wish I did.

I think he will be back with signings he wants, so we will see by the end of January window if I am right or wrong. If we can bring in 3 quality players ideally 2 permanent signings then I can say with certainly he has been backed. If we look for only promising young players(unde4r 21) then I don't think that should be our only focus. I don't mind we add the odd young player in January tho

pickering was very steady today, would be an enormously stupid decision to offload him imo

but it would of course save a few quid, he is without a doubt our highest earning left back, and we know all too well what are the priorities of the muppets in charge

Would take that over Gestede and Owen lumbering us with more rubbish tbh.
