Told there was supposed to have been a new signing processed / unveiled at Brockhall today - suppose might still happen with a few hours of the day left.  Haven't got a name.

Can’t be Akor Adams as he’s at Afcom 😂

Funny he was actually a target back then as has been confirmed on this MB.

Now way, way out of our league - where is the next Paul McKinnon!?

According to the daily mail, we are interested in Tom Lawrence. 32 years old and available for around £130k. Seems within range of our budget.

He'll want more than £10k per week.

He will be on way, way less than that in the A League

He will be like a new signing for us, and very versatile. He can play left wing back, and as any one or both of the two strikers we wanted.

Hope this is true and get him tied down definitely

A 2 year deal for a player you pay 1.5 million for is a bit of a joke. But I barely care anymore. Incompetence is just the nature of the game now for us.

Our 'war chest' will be used to buy new tea cup holders for the awayday coach Waggott bought us and some extra pennies for Trevor, the groundsman.

2 year deal?

Pathetic

Cynical **** that i am now wondering if we will sign him next week in order to sell him on deadline day for a profit... Usually about april we need a chunk of cash to pay the bills and that would reduce that requirement. Bonuses all round

He'll have played for 2 teams this season so, assuming the rules carry over to Europe too, he wouldn't be able to play for anyone else.

It’s a FIFA rule so it does.

They'll buy him now and sell him in summer i think that was the plan all along.

That sounds like complete BS.

If as alleged all along we have a legally binding option to purchase, what is there to discuss?

Likely will contain the "option for a further year" clause that all contracts seem to have now, and it won't activate until the summer. So realistically, including this loan, it could be a four year deal.

Only one I have head of there is Hornby, he's an absolute unit, everything Gueye should have been. No chance on him I would suggest.

Got a good engine apparently, but has gone off the rails recently

Oh eck, you've done it now.

If Baradji does sign permanently, I imagine he is planned to be Cantwell's replacement as the latter will likely be shipped out in the summer.

For what it's worth, I think Baradji is a good player. Not exactly the deal that we needed to do this month though!

Roversxtra is now a poster on here aren't they?

Maybe they can explain their understanding of the deal. I was under the impression that everything had effectively been agreed before the loan.
