Id say that's clearly not the case now having seen the 3 stooges interview and read recent comments by Pasha.

Might have been a few years ago.

Which interview? Which comments by Pasha?

The owners being willing sellers would be more exciting than any transfer we could possibly sign.

Has anyone seen enough of Jørgensen to give any indication that he is a quality player?

One full season in the highest division in Denmark and the rest played in the Danish second tier? Someone in Bodø/Glimt must have seen something in him, and someone in Bodø/Glimt must have seen it fitting to let him leave...

Are we to assume that Jorgensen qualifies for a standard GBE work permit on the basis of Champions League games?

The GBE calculator I used said he only had 10 points. So unless it's wrong (always been right before) or needs an update to reflect more recent games, he doesn't qualify.

New York Red Bulls also saw something in him at 18 to pay 2.5 million dollars for him. Course, it didn't work out there for him either, but at that age it's pretty easy for things to not work out.

I can't remember exactly what it was about the 3 stooges interview that struck me but it definitely didnt come over as "The Club is not for sale" like it had done previously.

Also I can't remember the exact quote but I'm sure Pasha said something along the lines of "Every Club is for sale" (at the right price) during one of the recent Fans Forums.

Roughly translates as:

"I can't be bothered doing the legwork to unearth any genuine scoops of my own and haven't any worthwhile contacts either so you'll have to go back to me confirming stuff after it's happened."

Fair play to him for apologising though. At least HE'S admitted his mistake and hasnt tried to double down on it or given it the usual "Things change all the time" guff that Nixon does.

Bloody hell, you hate poor Elliot more than you do Sondre.

It's if hes physically up to it week in week out that bothers me and always does with Scandi's and African players.

They tend to fall into two camps, strong physically and mentally or weak as piss on both counts with very little inbetween regardless of actual ability.

Numerous examples and how long before he's beasted into a strained hami by this lot ?

Just a lap dog putting out PR pieces for the Club - and they go and ban him!.

I do feel really sorry for him about that, and can't understand why - they couldnt have wished for a tamer more compliant local journo.

Compare that with the likes of a proper journalist, Peter White.

His piece unearthed by Gav on the nostalgia thread about the 1977 FA Cup tie against first division Derby County (who were a Division above us at the time) opened something like:

"The main disappointment about the game was that Rovers failed to do themselves justice".

Proper journalism telling it how it is and pulling no punches. We havent seen anything like that from the LT probably since John Williams' time as he was extremely sensitive about the PR coming out of the Club and anything written about the Club.

Andy Cryer (I think) did briefly peek his nose above the parapet about Kean and didnt last long.

Well, well, next time I travel to Ewood, I'm going to Scotland? 🙂

(Sorry, I ruined it all for you.)

I don't think that is fair

A wild few days for the ITK rankings. Mercer surging up the table. Nixon slightly improved as well. Jackson and RoversXtra seemingly duped by a source who may have been acting on the club's orders, or maybe not, causing chaos either way.

Did you read the pieces he put out yesterday about Hedges and new contracts?

No. Maybe, I need to catch up...but...I have heard him calling out the regime over the last couple of years...and I am grateful for small mercies, given the crap on Radio Lancashire etc..

What he says on his podcast and what he says in "print" seem to be 2 wildly different things.

I can't respect that even if he does have to put food on the table etc etc.

But then he isnt a supporter of the Club like us so I suppose it  doesn't matter in the slightest to him.

What we need at the moment is a Peter White ripping the ownership and the management to shreds not a tame local rag telling the Club how brilliant they are.

It would make the job of the Coalition so much easier.

Only in our hearts and minds, I'm afraid.

Point taken...I agree completely that we have been totally short changed by so many former "celeb" players and local radio.

All the commentary about the wall paper and colour of the carpets etc and nothing-zilch- about the big, fat shitty elephant, stinking out the room...

The way the media makes money (if indeed it does) in 2026, sadly, is massively different to the days when Peter White was around

Kind of glad about that, it seemed a very strange signing, would have much preferred an actual wing back, rather than a winger who can play at wing back

Yea I'll be honest he looked OK tbf but yea the struggle to figure out where was going to go atleast has been made easier now!
