Concussion protocol, depends if he actually was knocked out but EFL will have enquired after his comments on the post match interview

He didn't have treatment at the time and didn't go off. He was on his feet before the physio's had got near him.

Had he been concussed the medical staff would have insisted at half time that he comes off and had we done that it would have been a concussion substitution. Only if that had happened would the protocol kick in.

I know, I just think his comments around being knocked out in the interview the question will have definitely been asked

Well it shouldn't be should it it's time to actually support the team again now.

Not as easy as that Tomphil2...we all know the main problem is still there.

Add ticket prices and the fact its on Sky red button and its a bad combination for attendance, always has been at Ewood.

Why?

Just because I think he's needs it, lads shattered,  we've got QPR at home I think we can win it without him.

ffs

Can't be that bad surely? He played the full 90mins and walked down the tunnel at the end with no support.

He was on the end of a poor challenge, just before Montgomery was fouled for the second goal but he played another 30mins after that. So hopefully it's just precautionary

Cantwell apparently got a small kick against Stoke, played the full game, hasn't been seen since.  That was nearly 2 months ago now

Wonder with Cantwell if he had the inevitable fallout with Ismael and is now sitting pretty until he can be sold in Jan? Suhail would certainly be happy to get rid of the wages and open a path for Tyjon.

Plus Morishita plays 10 now in the new formation so no need for Cantwell anyway eh? (Sarcasm)

Even if not a fall out, entirely possible that when he hits 50 games, he will to trigger a pay rise and/or Rovers have to pay a fee to Rangers.  Would not surprise me at all if a move has already been agreed based on his form earlier this season

Derby/Birmingham/Wrexham would be my guess as to his destination

He was outstanding on Friday after his exertions in the international break and only getting back on Thursday. He will have rested up over the weekend so personally I just can't him not playing.

If he didn't play who would you have at centre to in his place?

Or his injury is a real one.

Couldn't agree more.

Miller will play

Also possible, but that doesn't change that he has 1.5 years left on his contract & will not be offered fresh terms at the level that he will accept for him to sign an extension.

He will leave either in January or summer, I still think Derby/Birmingham/Wrexham are the likely destinations

Bollocks.

Squad depth is non-existent at this club, so this is a massive blow.

Probably as a result of that tackle from behind at Preston. Like that one on Ohashi at Leeds last season were we didn’t even get a free kick !

Don't know just hope we aren't asking too much from him hopefully he's fine to play but I'd just not want to over do it with this raft of games coming up.

Rovers sports science staff would know

Indeed, there is a zero percent chance that Rovers would keep playing a player who is more susceptible to injury because of a lack of thought with their summer transfer business.

Look at how well they managed Carter & Wharton, we have nothing to fear

In fairness, they strike me as the polar opposite in terms of how they are with injuries.
