I have to say that isn't a particularly enticing offer. Id almost go as far as to say they're making offers they know won't be particularly successful so they can say "Told you so".

How anyone can turn their nose up at £10 is beyond me we really are proving the constant shit passionless support' jibes true if there's less than 10k home fans in for this.

Not that it'll happen but if every ST holder got another non holder to buy one there's potential for 16-18 thousand home fans. 

That would make a change from the usual eerie bollocks and should give the team a bit of a lift.

As it is i'll settle for ten thousand on instead of 6 or 7k !

The red button costs nowt if you already have Sky or Virgin.

I think they are trying to head off a disastrous actual bums on seats attendance and try to cover match costs at the same time.

It’s a midweek in December for a side in 18th who can’t win at home, I wouldn’t be able to give my ST away to a pal, never mind get a tenner out of them.

It’s an offer they’ve tried at least three times before for night games, they don’t work as floating fans aren’t interested in them.

No, if you opted out of buying a ST in the first place, the prospect of paying a tenner for this particular game when you can watch it for nothing on the red button, is unlikely to have much appeal.

If it was towards the end of the season and we needed three points to guarantee making the play offs or something then obviously it's a completely different proposition and that would be a great offer.

When a football club runs itself like a "business" (driving down costs and quality) don't be surprised when the "customers" vote with their feet. It is a big old world out there, if people have had enough of going to Ewood I wouldn't criticise them one bit. I'd actually applaud them for hanging around so long.

If a family or group of 3 want to go, do they need 3 season ticket holder mates? Just hassle.

Why not just make it a tenner. Oh yeah, that would stop us taking £23 off the Ipswich fans.

Also, if you are a committed rovers fan who attended the original game for full price (£30), then took up the offer of a half price ticket for this (£12.50), you still pay more than someone who now uses this offer pays?
