We should be alright for weather. I think we’re that traumatised from the Ipswich abandonment and Portsmouth last year, that even one ounce of rain will make us worry if the game will go ahead because we have a bunch of clowns running the club.

Actually laughable that with the exact same thing happening only a couple of months ago the 'solution' during the intervening time has been to buy/borrow half a dozen water hogs that obviously are going to make zero difference on a football pitch in that state with the rain still peltering down.

Like with everything else down there, superficial, cheap, minimal efforts to resolve an issue just end up making us look even more amateurish than before. We use the same hogs to try and dry the square at our amateur cricket club, not a full size football pitch in the Championship,

There can be absolutely no excuse. We didn't have games called off in the 2000s/2010s due to weather once a season.

Accrington and PNE completed their fixtures today in the same conditions.

The problem is failure to renew the drainage which was last done over 30 years ago.

End of story.

If the EFL have anything about them, they will force Rovers to refund home and away fans the ticket price, travel costs and any other out of pocket expenses.

To ignore this and allow the club to get away Scot free is not good enough.

They've obviously never seen the US Masters Golf, those guys can clear a waterlogged golf course in about half an hour.

In all seriousness the way things are going we need to start thinking about whether we need to be playing our home games at a different venue.

Assuming the lowlife that own us aren't going to take this seriously and invest in remedial work it is going to get worse, and worse, and worse.

We cannot afford to continue using a facility that cannot cope with heavy rain and causes multiple abandonments and lost points.

Either that or I expect the League will begin to apply pressure and begin to fine/sanction us for it.

Back then we used to have one of the best pitches in the league. Ever since these clowns came in, we’ve been ruined .

They’re so uninterested they probably have no idea this is happening, and I’d imagine the stooges are perfectly happy with that

Yet again Incould not access RoversTv withiut oaying for the game.  I paid a season pass at the start of the season.  It appears my subscription has disappeared.  Anyone else had this.  This is not the first time, support is awful they have never resolved anything.  Has anyone else dealt with this.  I thiught we had a RoversTv thread here but I can't find it.  Any help appreciated.  More embarrassing stuff for the club today.  We looked poor too.  Why were the groundstaff not working at halftime, one guy with a little fork don't get it done.

Deliberate ploy to mothball Ewood?

There were a number of them out at half time.

It's effectively pissing in the wind.

The drainage is the problem.

Leaves me wondering if our pitch is responsible for our plethora of tissue injuries.

Not enough.

Points deductions and /or the threat of expulsion from the League if the work isnt done required.
