Just thinking out loud here. After the Watford match our next camping could be 2 fold. Aimed directly at 2 groups. Current season ticket holders and those who are long term boycotters.

Could we do a template email and get current season ticket holders who will not renew next year to email the club and tell them this.

Same for previous season ticket holders, they could email and say I will return if club is up for sale.

It does give another indication to the powers that be the strength of feeling.

I'll do that no problem but Im not sure if me saying I won't go back until after they've gone is that much of an enticement for them.

Existing season ticket holders indicating an unwillingness to renew - rather more compelling I suspect.

Absolutely agree. Anyone could say they will be back, however a current season ticket holder saying they will not renew is far more powerful.

An “I’m not gonna renew” red card protest? 🤔

There's been countless things people have tried to do "behind an avatar" and on rare occasion in my case public attempts. It's been over 14 years since my last attempt and the club was still in the Premier League then. Of course my list of grievances are so vast that some will be overlooked but the coalition have failed to address the two biggest insults from the current regime where Jack Walker is concerned.

Then there's his family who as per usual get away with everything when new owners should be encouraged to ensure they never darken Ewood's corridors with their presence again. Infact they should never be welcome in Blackburn again. If the club hits the worst case scenario will they finally get their deserved share of the blame? Who was it who put Jerome Anderson before the trustees? Who had the most to gain besides the spivs and associated leeches? Think! Investigate!

I won't be posting on here again (there might be a rare exception if it involves the Walkers) beyond my 40th birthday in November (resolutions are nonsense but most people in football are out of the game by then which is why I'm choosing that number for myself) so there won't be many more opportunities to make this point.

Don't let any decent new owners down.

Not everyone has the same axes to grind as you, chief.

Would need a decent take up amongst matchgoers though.

Nobody had to grind the sharp knifes they stuck in Jack Walker's back.

Some idiot on X.

"That's not the Jack Walker I want to remember. He was never aggressive like that."

Venkys could have turned bloody Gandhi aggressive.

Before I start, I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just providing you with the information so that you've got some anecdotal stuff to consider.

Since new year, I've asked at least 7 (2 today) if they're boycotting and not one is. One of them goes  from a pub in Darwen and doesn't know anyone from that pub who is  boycotting. Nobody I've asked even seemed to consider it.

Maybe someone else has any info

In contrast the pubs I go to in Darwen and in Blackburn 5 from one 6 from another are all boycotting.

Vast range of people. Jack the lads to mature fans, to older fans. A number those have also mentioned brothers cousins work mates not attending also.

Indeed and sometimes it could be blunt if annoyed enough. "If I say no it means bloody no" in response to Man United. Or it could just be pure logic as in "you don't score 30 goals" to Sherwood (from a recent article) who felt he also deserved one after Shearer got a new contract.

Zero filter. If a fella has a booming Northern accent everyone listens 😂

It is a fact that we tend to associate with like minded people ! I’ve asked a lot of friends and they all see the bigger picture and are prepared to make the sacrifice of missing a game in an effort to save our club.

In years to come when Blackburn Rovers are playing in non league or the club is getting wound up by the owners as it isn't deemed financially viable, people will look back and see that there were some that tried to do something about the situation and there were others who were happy to sit back and do nothing as the club was systematically demolished.

How are you going to be remembered?

There's a lot of contradiction on both sides of the argument, but that post has to take the biscuit.

I think you need to add contradiction to the large list of things you don't understand.
