That’s relying on believing that Pasha actually cares about the fans, which recent actions suggest he doesn’t. The owners will probably not have an interest or even see what the actual crowd will be.

As far next season’s season ticket sales, Pasha will be keeping his fingers crossed that the boycotts peter out, like they’ve done before.

If we did get back to the Premier League, they can walk away and claim their tenure was a success, claim the Premier League money to pay off debts to them and then sell up in the belief that more people will be willing to buy a Premier League team.

I don’t think the “legal “issues”” will make any difference to them owning us, at the moment it’s only a civil case and not a legal case.

As far as their business collapsing, the VH group had an annual turnover last year over a billion pounds, so the money they put into “this pointless project” is insignificant in their company.

The last quarter results showed the chicken business was losing money hand over fist

The reported turnover of VH group is around 100 million not 1 billion, the main listed entity 'Venkys Ltd' which flashes around our stadium made a profit of around 6.5 million so the money needed for Rovers is hardly insignificant in yearly turnover terms.

Although probably doesn't make a dent in the families overall wealth.

Their wealth should be an asset, instead it's the problem, unlike other owners who were/are losing money, they don't need to sell.

Anyone who doesnt see the need for a boycott or any other form of action should read Devon Rover's beautifully written post on the "Painful Acceptance" thread and take a moment to reflect.

An empty ground, would help the away team, how about, no home supporters entering the ground for 15 minutes, with protests outside, for 15 minutes.

Because the aim is to not only make a visual impact but to hit Venkys in the pocket.

Admittedly one game won't make a difference but in my opinion this could be a turning point for a lot of people.

I've had a season ticket all my life but I'm seriously considering not renewing next season.

An empty ground should be a wake up call to the players ..time to pull your finger out ...this is what the ground will look like if you get relegated lads  . Get used to it .

Besides that theory of an empty ground  being an advantage to the away team is a load of bollox  ..they ve had the fans at home since August ..just look at our record at home this season . Abysmal !

Maybe they like playing to a smaller fan base like when playing away ..another dumbing down of the club

Would be like an away match, so the more who stay away the more you are helping our survival chances.😉

Considering our home form this season it seems a stretch to suggest the away team requires an additional advantage to take points from Ewood Park. Our manager and team are usually enough of an advantage for the away team.

Like I've said in the past. The local community needs the money - stay away from the game, go to the cafe's the local park the butty shops etc. spend what you would on a ticket or inside the ground on the local area.

It's one game that will almost certainly dross whether the fans are there or not. So for one game stay away and do something different. I understand it's routine and for some a way to switch off for 90mins or so, but just do do something within the local community.

Surely that's a better story - 'Boycotting rovers fans spend x amount on local cafe's/businesses in Venkys protest.'

Unfortunately I think they do, I fear that is the very point of holding on to the club.

I believe they hate us.

They'd never come out and say it but through their entire tenure there has definitely been an element of F U we own it it's ours. Come if you want but if not we aren't bothered we pay and we'll do as we please.

Imo the ONLY way to break that is boycott and show them a football club is nothing without its fans and all the blame and bad publicity lies with you, regardless of your wealth.

I don’t think the boycott will any difference at all, especially when it’s a league game. I think, at best, the owners are indifferent and any news seems to go through Pasha. He’ll just point to the official attendance figure that will be around 10k, if not higher.

The 'official attendance' will be the same as it always is, as it counts tickets sold not bums on seats

The true figure will come in the FOI request to the police, who will release actual data

In any case, you will be able to see, visually, if there is a reduction in attendance. What Pasha points to is irrelevant.

Are there any plans for the Coalition to challenge the Owners silence over the Letter?..again,strike while the Iron is hot surely.

Can we ask the LT/National Media to get involved again and ask questions as to why we have been ignored.

Nobody pays attention to the announced crowd these days.

Leicester, West Ham have both had very empty grounds in recent weeks with ‘27,000’, ‘58,000’ announced or whatever.

So what's your solution?

Give up and do nothing?

Yes, but for us to be able to do that with any real mandate, the boycott must be a success. If it isnt then Pasha will claim we are the minority so no need to recognise us and reply.

This is the crooks of the strategy but it is very difficult for many to understand that. Keep hearing" they already have my money" and " what will one game do?"

I dont actually think it's a priority to challenge the non response to the letter, the longer it is ignored, the worse it looks on the Club.

In response to your second point, I hope the boycott is a huge success from your point of view, but even if it is, I doubt it will achieve much in itself frankly. Sustained action over an extended period of time however might, and it all has to start somewhere and this is an ideal first step.
