Baradji never looks bothered or interested. Not the sort of player you want in a relegation scrap.

Sometimes I think I watch a different game to some on this board.

Baradji is a quality footballer who is getting to grips with recovering from injury and playing with some of the dross we signed in the summer. If he is being made permanent then bravo to whoever is making that decision.

A poor game but it was good to see the youngsters come in and do a decent job.  Another impressive performance from Baradji who looks a class act.  With a busy month ahead I thought Val did the right thing in resting players.  The one good thing is the QPR game should now be a 3.00pm kick-off - at least until Sky get their hands on it.

Just watched the “ highlights “ . The breakaway towards the end were Baradji plays in the young winger. The kid seems to be trying to set himself up for a left foot shot when it’s crying out for a right foot shot. These “ inverted wingers “ are doing my head in.

What i gleaned from today more than anything is there are no goals in our young forwards who all struggled with the step up despite working hard.

I fear they like a lot of others are being judged on running stats rather than footballing ability.

Now if only we had a lad around the place like that young Leonard at Peterbrough !

We had him around. He was hardly ever out of the treatment room.

Well he's fit now and he cost us nothing but hey why keep an instinctive developing young forward on peanuts when you can get rid and bring in an AI stats signing.

We are showing over a prolonged period now that we cannot score goals and we cannot win matches.

Feeling confident of survival, anyone?!

I am.

When we had Gudjohnson alongside Ohashi we looked a lot more dangerous .

I'm confident with Gudjohnson and the addition of a striker or 2 we will stay up.We ain't being battered every week the majority of our games have been close we lack a cutting edge

We lack a blunt edge.

mowbray went 1 win in 17 with a superior squad than val and nothing happened, val could take us to the conference north and he would`nt be sacked, venkys don`t do sacking, they just drive managers away,if he does`nt get his strikers come febuary,i think he`ll walk tbh

Not a chance, he's the next Mowbray. He will be content here whatever happens.

Look at some of his horror runs over the years.

We were never gona win the TNT Cup anyway!

On that logic we should never enter another competition ever again!

Sky have already selected there games for that weekend.

All the Championship ones they selected though will be postponed because one of the teams progressed to the next round.

Yes, we lost, but what yesterday’s game really showed us is that our youngsters stepped up and delivered far better performances in the first team than many expected - fans included and especially those within the club making the decisions. Those youngsters have actually exposed a lot of people within the club and shown that the club have wasted a lot of money and time bringing external players into the squad when we already had an equal (arguably better) player already within the ranks.

I hope the positive in this poor season is that they look there first before 'trusting the data' elsewhere over 'trusting our own' that we've spent years developing.
