Swansea win, we get one shot on target. Valerian makes more excuses and speaks of the owners ambition and injuries and results don’t matter, running hard for 90 minutes does. He stays in the job and we get linked to a nobody player we’re signing gambling peanuts on from the Betclic 2 Liga and it’s being drummed up as an ambitious exciting potential signing who we’ve been chasing from LSK Lodz since last summer.

Going to this as I have never been to the Liberty. Still tempted to find a good pub and just stay in there in lieu.

Swansea's home record in all competitions this season:

8 wins, 6 draws, 6 defeats

Swansea's last 10 games overall:

5 wins (home & away v Oxford, home v Portsmouth, West Brom & Wrexham)

2 draws (home v Birmingham, home v West Brom in the cup)

3 defeats (away at Stoke, Millwall and Coventry)

This is about the time we'll get a result to give a bit of daylight again.

Which will then be followed by a fee defeats.

Into must win territory because the Swans are a team we need to be below us after the 46th game.

Alebiosu as unused sub for Nigeria last night so he comes straight into the side for me.

More controversially I would start Forshaw in place of Baradji and I saw enough of Jorgensen to be starting him too.

Pratt for either McLoughlin or Cashin but that won't happen. Definitely keep Atcheson in the side.

I can actually see VI picking the exact same team as yesterday. That being said I fully expect a few 'injuries' to surface. Not actual injuries, just players who completely cannot be fucked playing for this clown any longer so fake something. Always happens with struggling teams.

Not hard to imagine the exact same result either, Swansea aren't as good as Ipswich though so I'll go for a 2 nil home win.

To my knowledge Rovers have only beaten Swansea at their place once in god knows how long - 3 nil away win early in JDT's tenure. It is not a happy hunting ground and I see no reason for that to change on Tuesday.

Swansea 2 - 0 Rovers

The team I would like to see:

                                     Toth

                Atcheson    O'Riordan    Pratt

         Alebiosu  Tronstad   Baradji    Pickering

                                   Cantwell

                        Ohashi     Jorgensen

The team we will likely see is the same one that started on Saturday but with Jorgensen up front alongside Ohashi and Henriksson dropping out.

Is Alebiosu back for this?

He shouldn't be after spending time out injured with Nigeria and only getting back to the UK today or tomorrow but have we any choice but to start  him?

Cashin up front wouldn't be a bad shout with his finishing yesterday

I actually said to my mate yesterday that when Rovers whip in a rare ball at the other end nobody in our line up would attack it like Cashin did !

Says a lot about modern day fwds but him as well, i think he'd be safer up top and certainly more threat than hairband Eric.

Pretty sure they brought Miller straight back in when he returned from international duty.

We're absolutely desperate, so he'll probably play.

Rovers are well and truly in the doldrums at the moment, with confidence up front shot to pieces, confidence in the middle seemingly mired in negativity and showboating, and confidence at the back collapsing with new (and mandatory game time) faces displacing shoe-ins who had been performing well... Even our Talisman (Moses Toth) couldn't keep the floodgates from opening on his return to the fold, despite performing heroics at Ipswich.

So a trip to the Swansea.com stadium on a cold tuesday evening holds little scope for optimism for even the most diehard fans of our emasculated club. As others have pointed out, however, Rovers often serve up a surprise when the darkness appears deepest, which means it is not a foregone conclusion that the faithful few will trudge back up the country to a late bed with their tails between their legs and oaths of desperate skullduggery towards the clownpants committee of incompetent morons on their minds.

Like many on here, I'm losing the desire to continue having my nose rubbed raw in shit and salt on an ongoing basis, but hey ho - it could be worse... (I'm clearly being ironic here..)

Same old, same old.. Swans 2 Rovers Rabble 0

Some signs of salvation... Swans 1 (88, pen) Rovers Recover 1 (Jorgensen 90+2, Shearer style bullet)

Send in the Stethescope ... Swans 0 Rovers on Crack Cocaine 4  (Never happening, keep taking the jellies).

COYB!
