Is This Team Connected to Our Rovers?

Recommended Posts

I’ve been in touch with them via Facebook...there is a tenuous link via a sponsor apparently...potential future podcast guests 😉

Had a Facebook chat with Simon Enright, a former Norwich City academy coach who is part of the coaching staff there.

Potential copyright issues there if no known connection with our Rovers agreed!

Is this a wind up WTF!

Let’s play them in a pre-season friendly

Dunno, they'd have to wear the away kit and I'd just be reminded it's better than ours!

It's like a whole knock off product you would find in China, like a car you would say looks like a Rolls Royce but is actually called a Jiangsu BT-87500. And is far inferior in terms of performance and quality.

Not wearing our away kit to such an inferior copycat even in their own ground, whilst they parade our colours...I would hope.

We are also more likely to drag them here than let them drag us there.

It's been a few years since that 'new Blackburn team' wind up that I vaguely remember.

Any updates on this or what? This site isn't even allowed to display Rovers badge so how the hell are they getting away with a blatant copy?

"We are in talks with Blackburn Rovers regarding all of those details... But to clarify no official affiliation at this moment"

I hope for their sakes that the EPL match isn't Burnley or it could be the biggest advert for American Football ever.

Imagine if your only experience of English soccer is having to endure Turgid Tony and Dour Dyche games on your trip of lifetime (sic).

That Ray Franklin must make a excellent cup of tea if it's one of the selling points.  Wonder if he uses that slightly salty Boston blend :)

No questions asked at FF?

I told them they should’ve established a connection with the club BEFORE stealing our badge. They “respect my opinion”...

That's along the same lines as "with all due respect....."

In their first season, they managed 4 points in 7 games.  Given how amateur clubs at this level work, at some point they might just disappear and we will be the only people to remember that they ever existed.
