A decent striker and it's 1-0. That's the difference between us and the higher ups.
-
I'm surprised but not entirely shocked that Morton is lining up tonight, the lad that watched as a Huddersfield players crossed a ball into the box without running, challenging, attempting to get back for it. 26 seconds in.
-
Just seen we're playing with 9 again 🤦♂️

On the evidence of the last couple of minutes, this lot should be charged with war crimes. And another foul, tackle from behind.

Switch on the Sheff utd vs Cardiff game and the first thing I see is a Sheffield player intentionally hurting a Cardiff player. Along with their illegal abuse of the transfer market, it makes you wonder how they are second doesn't it. Edit: a moment later Berget intentionally brings down a player when Cardiff are in a 3 v 2 situation. Yellow card.

Preston have had an easy ride of fixtures recently so let's see if they can go away and beat a side that have had a decent season so far.
-
They were two goals against the run of play thanks to some poor defending. Even if it was your emotional response to being two goals down, it wasn't entirely true.
-
Agree on the first, but Carter was poor against Huddersfield in the first half.
-
If he goes it'll be interesting to see who Burnley go for next.
-
When we're looking so vulnerable at the back, it's not that bizarre. Part of the problem is when the players take too many passes in the final third, then lose it and the opposition counters. It works fine when we got at them with pace as long as it ends in a shot and the ability to regroup.
-
I've given Carter a bit of stick above, but to be fair to him he was asked to do a lot covering.
-
If Pears is to be dropped then so does Carter. He was abysmal in the first half against Hudds. The main person dropped should be Morton for Wharton though. What Morton was doing for their second goal I'll never understand - it was straight out of the book of Keith Andrews. Standing there jogging and watching as a ball flies across the box. He's a total liability. If Carter and Morton had their heads screwed on we'd have two extra points.
-
Because they do know what to do when he's out of position.

I saw money changing hands and season tickets handed over. Until the final whistle I had no idea quite the extent of the dodgy ticket selling and that I was sat in a stand filled with Man City fans. I doubt there was any action taken against the fans that sold them despite it creating a potentially very dangerous situation.
-
We got offered a silly amount of money for our season tickets. Didn't take it. Some people made a decent wedge from not attending that game.

The more I watch replays of yesterdays second half performance, the more I think stick JRC up front in place of Gallagher. Put Brittain and Sorba on the flank. The lad isn't afraid to shoot and heads the ball well. He scored one and pretty much made one. -
It's if Rovers fans sell their tickets to touts as happened years ago against Man City.

And a joke of a punishment with a transfer embargo, after the transfer window 😄

For anyone interested, we were 2 points outside of the play offs at this stage last season after a 1-1 draw at home to Blackpool. And we were rubbish if I remember correctly. -
It's like their keepers are having a sneaky bet on who can be the most shit. I don't think I've ever seen two different keepers, same team, same match, be this bad.
-
I think you've got your wish 😕

Bit annoying that Tella did two fouls in ten seconds and didn't receive a single card, yet their goalie got sent off for one. Funny old game isn't it.
-
Sheffield Utd imploding at the Dingle dome.
-
Oof, Huddersfield were a lot more fortunate. Two shots, two goals against run of play. Then we hit the post. I'd say we were very unlucky overall. Huddersfield had 10 men defending for most of the game. Give us a midfielder and a striker and we'd be beating these teams easily.

You wouldn't have thought so with the reactions on here.
