I have a list of celebrities who died in 2020. There are 55 of them; only the ones I had heard of, out of the many more. It's fascinating how many are film and TV stars, Bond movies' stars and loads of footballers. If anyone wants me to list them I will, if I can find the time and if the Mods approve.

I was about to recommend The Black Horse, Friargate, Preston. Not only is it a Robinsons pub but it is well worth visiting for the nostalgia of what a pub of yesteryear was like. It's a superb preserved building both inside and out. Not to be confused with The Black Bull which is opposite Greyfriars Wetherspoons.

The French, Italian and Mexican national anthems are great to dance to. But our anthem has dignity. So does the anthem of Japan. My favourite is Hungary.

There was a recent game (I say "recent", must have been in the last 10 years) when Rovers were away and scored a glorious team goal. The commentators counted the number of passes that Rovers made before scoring. Can't think who it was against. Maybe a Yorkshire team?

Is it worth discussing Britain's Got Talent on here? I have only ever voted in the final twice. The first time I was determined to vote Susan Boyle but instead voted for the superb dance troop known as Diversity and they won. This year the final was made up of really good acts but this fella with the balloon had me laughing all the time. I saw his audition but missed the semi final. So, not expecting him to win, I voted for him. I was quite shocked when he won. Since then I keep watching on You Tube his three performances and cannot stop laughing. What will he do next? I'm obviously not in the minority because he won but people like Graham Liver on Radio Lancs don't agree.
