You cannot compare Kean to the most hated and despised Rovers player ever to wear the shirt. Derek Dougan was a great footballer, bought from Portsmouth, a wonderful centre forward. We fans loved him. Because of his unorthodox hair style he was called "Cheyenne". What he did before the final and during the final was far worse than anything Kean did. I cannot find words to describe my feelings towards Dougan. That's probably the best because we really should not speak ill of the dead.

A few days after, there was a cartoon in the LET which showed a bill board with "Rovers supporter in Rhodesia votes Keeley player of the year" written on it. Underneath was written, "He must have had a good pair of binoculars".

Brentford FC have spent a few years organising a way of running a club, scouting for the right type of player, playing a certain way and choosing the right managers to do this. And it showed tonight how far they have come in the last 5 years with this plan. They were unlucky not to win promotion last season. Suspect they will finally achieve their goal this year. Good luck to them if they do. I wish BRFC were structured similar.

Camera people need shooting

Yes. I get fed up with their constant inane chatter. Also the camera people keep showing 3 replays of some previous action whilst the restarted game continues out of our sight. So frustrating. I paused the game for 7 minutes in the 1st half and continued to watch it to half time ok. At that point I clicked the red "Live game" icon and caught up to real time. Easy! The sound was in synchro with the picture so that was ok as well.
