It's Tuesday 1st September 23:10 hours. The BBC Sport website for scores and fixtures has the results of today's games EFL Trophy and Finland league. There is a raft of F A Cup Qualifying games that kicked off between 19:30 and 20:00. Not a single result is shown. To me this is shocking coverage and reporting by the BBC. It IS the F A Cup after all. I despair of the modern generation who don't seem to give a toss about getting information out to those who want it. Don't give a toss about "doing things correctly and meticulously". Another (justified) rant from an old timer.

It's time they changed back then. I remember my grandma colouring the front door step with a donkey stone. Not only that but council-owned paving flags that abutted her house as well. There's a playing field at the back of me. The council cut it. But I strim the part that they cannot cut right up to my fence. I also clear the weeds from the road gutter in front of my house because the street sweeper cannot get them all up. I'm proud of where I live and want to keep it looking tidy. I'm happy with the young squad we've got. OK, it was only a friendly but we only need a good left back bringing in. Both Wharton and Carter did well. Dolan is a gem. BB looking good. And we don't need another keeper as a sub. Fisher and Eastham look quite capable.

Got an email from Rovers about tonights game. I clicked on the link to register. I can do anything but register. It tells me to put in my user name and the password I selected etc. There are loads of questions and answers but none about registration. I typed "registration" into the help box. Answer was did not recognise the word. Another shockingly awful web site put together by goons.
