  1. Only against West Brom; not against Luton.
  2. A very good performance by all players. Samuel got going after some awful mistakes and misses. Tonight he showed us he can be a better player than we think. Walton is bloody awful. Get rid. Johnson got better as the game went on. Armstrong is sublime. Why oh why does Nyambe not cross the ball now and again? Still showing signs of no confidence going forward. But I'm grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
  3. JRC having a good game. Most of the players are to be honest. Samuel has cocked up twice and poor Ryan should have scored early on. Walton at fault for their 1st goal. This is a better effort than the Leeds one but not by much.
  4. We wandered aimlessly onto the pitch in dribs and drabs. They trotted out looking energetic. Oh well, Tony must have got them wound up. NOT
  5. It wouldn't surprise me if Rovers actually won there tonight. It's just the sort of thing we least expect from Rovers. Remember Sheff Wed 5-0 away?
  6. Mark Hughes had 3 very good backroom staff with him when he was at Rovers. One of them is manager of Reading. I don't know where Nediwinski (?) and the other fella is. But Hughesy on his own may not be as good.
  7. Started off well. Hit the post and then scored a good goal only for the ref to give them a free kick for something Bennett did.
  8. I have lost all confidence in the man. He is a dinosaur manager. He is taking Rovers nowhere. I cannot see a steady development at the club. I am annoyed with him. So, when I get annoyed with someone I call them a dickhead.
  9. Bennett at LB again? We've lost already. I feel sorry for Benno but not for our dickhead manager.
  10. His Wycombe side will probably get the double over us next season.
  11. I think this thread has been hijacked by journalists and novelists. I've never seen so much typing per post, page after page. I can't be arsed reading it.
  12. I agree to play as many of our youngsters as possible. Maybe you're right. Fancy Mowbray's job?
  13. We all hope he takes over here. Unfortunately our owners haven't a clue and may think,"what happened when we promoted Kean may happen again if we promote Johnson". Club is badly run so I don't presume anything.
  14. Wow!! That would be interesting. From what I've seen of Chapman he looks completely lost. I'd still play Tosin and have Carter on the bench along with Buckley. I'd probably start with Bennett instead of Chapman on the right. Are you sure, Chaddy. Death comes like a thief in the night, i.e. when you least expect it.
  15. If he'd played youngsters to give them a chance I would have understood losing. But all the old men and useless ones in the side? He has to go. In fact the whole club needs to be re-arranged from top to bottom. But that won't happen.
  16. If anyone thought Mowbray was doing well for us before the last two games they must have had their eyes opened. This shambles of a squad and manager are awful. If we do fluke a win against Leeds, don't be fooled. I'm so down because I can't see a way out of it.
  17. Travis was injured. Rather why oh why did he play Bennett at LEFT back?
  18. If we lost over two legs how the hell could we BE at Wembley to lose again??
  19. Had Tony called it a day and walked during lockdown, and our owners had appointed Warnock before Boro did, I wonder what we would be seeing now. Would we be scratching our heads at his team selection yet overjoyed at a strong, difficult-to-beat side who had just picked up 6 points and knocking on the play-offs' door? I can but dream.
  20. Two good suggestions here. I have thought for most of the season that we just aren't good enough to make the play-offs and I'm being proved right. In that case we should be planning for next season by playing Hilton or Fisher (whoever has the best potential), JRC, Buckley and maybe Thompson at left back. We must leave out Mulgrew, Johnson and Smallwood. DG could be useful off the bench and Tosin has to play every game for us.
