As things stand, i'd settle for a chinese, japanese, korean player of some sort. Purely on marketing alone, and shirt sales it would generate money, probably get a few bums on seats too. Why???? Our current strategy is a painful death, with the contract scenario of so many of our so called better players, where does next seasons cash injection come from? Where is our next £5 million plus player sale? We are loaning players, so stifling any opportunity to unearth another saleable asset. We will need to cut the wage bill again at the end of the season, just to open the doors. This short term planning is madness, we are basically running insolvent, more going out than coming in with "stevie wonder" in the boardroom. These clowns need holding accountable, "sack the board, sack the board". Stealing a living, with zero business or football plan of where we are going. Whats the 3,6,9,12 month plan? What does year 2, 3 and 4 look like? They dont have a clue. We are literally rummaging around for loanees to make up our squad numbers. Regardless of how good or bad these players turn out to be, how does this sustain our existence? These are not worrying times, these are critical times

Great point against a very physical well schooled Millwall. It would of been easy to shy away, or go hiding today. They were physically overpowering but the lads stuck at it, and got a richly deserved point for perseverance. 4 points is an excellent start to the season, and it was points pre xmas last year and the season before that kept us from being in a relegation battle. Hopefully we can continue on wednesday and bag another point. I do think the lack of signings maybe to our advantage in the first couple of months of the season. The lads know each other, are use to playing with each other and there is no bedding in of new players. Our bench is the worrying thing, its just non existent in terms of experience. Hopefully the solid start loosens a couple of the purse strings and shows us in good light to potential signings. With 6 new players, armstrong here etc etc etc, we'd be delighted with 4 points from 6, so to have them without the new players and Armstrong, is fantastic and far more than expected. You can't compare Mowbray to Kean, Kean was just Vile, The only likeness is media manipulation, as with the sky interview where he seemed resigned his time was up, which had many quarters in football and in our supporter base feeling sorry for him. Then, this season its been about how we have no money, and him literally begging people to buy armstrong. He took the unusual step of talking in depth about Obafemi, despite him being another clubs player. The sceptical side of me would ask , is this his ready made excuse if the deal falls through that we couldnt afford his wages/transfer? It would certainly strengthen his position if we have parted with 12 and got no-one in? Surely no manager can have the finger pointed at them if we go down due no investment maybe his thought process? Mowbray has served his purpose, a steady pair of hands to stabilise the sinking ship. His finest hour at rovers is taking us back up, but on wages alone, it would of been a disaster had we not gone straight back up, given the gap in quality we had over the opposition. However in the championship, we have not kicked on. He talks about a journey, but its like he keeps forgetting something so goes back to the start of the journey without ever reaching the destination. This COVENTRY link in the boardroom and management is unhealthy. I don't believe Waggott has the balls to recommend TMs sacking. Its no different now to Shagnew, and Kean. They knew together they were bullet proof, divided they would fall. As I said last week, I don't expect an awful lot this season. The ground is beginning to look old, the training facilities are no longer the state of the art, other clubs have evolved and not only passed us, but are now lapping us. The squad is lower championship/higher reaches of Division 1. The management is passed its sell by date and predictable. The owners are clueless, and the fans have left in their thousands. The memories are all we have, and top flight football in the current climate is a near impossible mission

Be poor if the player turns us down in Obafemi, however not surprising. How on earth do we sell Rovers to any player, given the cut backs, the publically stated facts we are potless, and clear lack of hunger or ambition to get promoted? He is probably looking at Sam Gallagher and thinking we worked wonders for his career? We need a clearing of the guard, Waggott, and down. I've never actually spoken to the chancer in the boardroom, but for those that do, i sincerely hope he gets dragged through the ring. When we had Hunt, Shagnew et all, they never got a minutes peace, and ultimately they are no longer here. I cant help thinking these charlatans are getting a free ride, and are not being called out. Perhaps a public letter and press release from one of these supporter groups, calling them out in public is needed. I don't see any questions of the management of our club in the public spotlight. I'm affraid the longer that continues, the lower we will fall.

Seaon ticket renewed, out of loyalty rather than optimism. No new players at this stage, with squad likely to be propped up with Loans. We are a side gearing up for the championship, but in reality with a division 1 stroke 2 budget. This has been on the horizon since the clowns in Pune took over, regardless of who is sat in the dugout/boardroom. The club has been on the decline, will continue to decline and the fact we still have a club is a minor miracle given the mismanagement to all those involved since the changing of the guard. Season tickets/walkons will likely be at the same level or worse, than before Jack Walker bought the club. A 31000 all seater stadium which will be not even a third full including away support. An atmosphere, which will need life support to get you off your seat. Selling a player or two to stay afloat, then loaning a kid or two to plug the gap. Rovers are very stale, in terms of vision, management top to bottom and ownership from afar. I'd like to say I can't remember a more underwhelming run up to the new season, however since the Venkys, its been a recurring theme each season. We cant afford to buy players, or even match wage demands. When they sit down with potential targets, genuinely, how do we sell this club to the player? Only positive this season, is nice new kit, although that became a negative when they sold out in 48 hours. Whatever this season brings, i'm already resigned that this season, next season, the season after etc. Will be a continuation of decline. Enjoy the season fellow supporters and cherish the memories

Reading his latest interview on the back of the last couple of weeks statements, then one word comes to mind "bitter". I've said a few times this season prior to Xmas, that injuries had massively hindered us, and on that basis I wouldnt change manager. However since Xmas, with injuries clearing and heavily backed in the january window by the owners he has zero excuses. His team selection for the last 2 matches in particular was criminal. I'd sack him for that alone, his faith is poor signings like Gallager who cant trap a bag of cement, cant pass, cant shoot, cant cross, cant win a 50/50 cross, has poor positional play, and has me saying everytime he gets the ball. "FFS". Even his team mates appear to now avoid passing to him. He aint alone though, there are those who are hungry, and then those whose application is like they stole the buffet. Our league position for the talent at his disposal is miles short of the minimum expectation. Tms body language, sudden attitude of "go #### yourself, your opinion means ####" is most disappointing. He is sounding delusional, in a results winning business. He sounds like a bad gambler who tells you about the £100 he won this week, but fails to mention the previous month his family didnt eat and he couldnt pay his bills because he lost thousands". Im sorry my opinion has finally broke on him, i've tried hard to be patient, to wait for it to all come together, but deep down know change is needed, and only an empty ground is keeping him in a job"

New rovers beer, the size of a can of coke, £15 for 6, or £63 for mixed pack of 24, Seems a lot, But then £4.80 for 3 day delivery on a pack of 6 or £7.20 delivery for next day Or £21 for Saturday delivery, which most who work and can afford these would need. Nearly £6 a pint, does anyone know of another carry out beer in a can more expensive. At a time when our local pubs are closing through no real brewery support, i think this is an own goal. I'd rather support my local pub or shop, but i'd never pay £6 a pint either at home or the pub. We are going through a global pandemic, where lots of the uk are on furlough with wages subsidised, or losing their jobs. Where free school dinners has been a national topic, Really cant support this because Can has a rovers badge on.

Hello All, I was wondering if I could get some support at the upcoming elections for FSF National Council? I previously spent time on the National Council during the period I was involved with the BRFC Action Group and Rovers Trust. When I stood down from both organisations to concentrate more of my efforts on work and family, I also stood down from the National Council. We are facing challenging times as supporters, with talk of breakaway leagues, empty grounds due to Covid, Clubs having a real threat of going out of business and many issues around our national game. I feel I'm now in a position to put my extra time, to something good, and something I'm passionate about. Having a Rovers supporter on the FSF National council can only be a good thing, as these positions are elected representation of all supporters of all clubs. This year there is just four positions up for election, and 12 Candidates including myself have been short listed as candidates to stand for the election. Another classic, from the Man involved in trying to takeover Burnley: Dear Shebby, I thought I would send yourself and the owners a summary of the Judge’s verdict on our application to remove the admission of liability to pay Henning Berg a salary calculation over 2 1/2 years. You will recall Derek Shaw and Brabners admitted liability for this sum without informing the owners. This can be evidenced by Derek Shaw’s conversation with Brabners which is on the file where it states “she will not like this but will have to do it and ease it into her”. Our Application on 16th April 2013 was to attempt to remove / withdraw the admission of liability and go to a trial to hear this matter in full. You will be aware from my previous notes that upon investigating this matter further and going through the witness statement with Derek Shaw that I did have deep reservations about this matter going to full trial as a result of feeling that Derek Shaw would not make a reliable witness as he seemed to be unsure of key events. In short, the Judge today has dismissed our Application to withdraw the admission. As such, the admission by Derek Shaw and Brabners will stand and a further sum of monies (approximately £50k) will have to be paid to Henning Berg on to of the monies already paid. The Judge found that: 1) He did not believe the evidence as submitted by Derek Shaw; 2) Derek Shaw had not told Henning Berg or his advisors that he did not have the authority to enter into that contract; 3) Derek Shaw removed the 12 month notification period from the contract and it was, he found, acceptable for Henning Berg and his advisors to rely upon Derek Shaw’s authority to bind the owners; 4) There was contradictory evidence before him (letters regarding the investigation viz a viz notification on the Club’s official website that their was no investigation); 5) The Club had neither suspended nor terminated Derek Shaw’s contract therefore: - he did not believe the admission should be withdrawn and Judgment should be entered against the Club. The situation the Club faces itself in is, in my opinion, wholly unfair and results from the removal of the twelve month notification period and the initial admission of liability. This factor is even more frustrating when you consider the point at calculation of the monies owed to Henning Berg under the contract is higher than the amount of money he would have earned if he had remained at the Club for the full duration. We must not forget that payment ought to have been made within a ridiculously short length of time of 28 days. This again is a mistake that had been made either by the MD or by Brabners Chaffe Street when drafting the contract. Next Step In my opinion the Club now have to consider the following: 1. The position of the MD; 2. Whether there are any legal grounds to pursue a claim for damages against Brabners; and 3. Protection for the owners at Boardroom level. I am happy to advise briefly (and in more detail if requested) as follows: a) The actions by the MD, either deliberately or by mistake which may constitute gross misconduct and as such suspension / termination are available by way of remedy to the Club immediately. In addition, contractually the Club has the right to pursue such damages against the MD. The owners must consider this matter. b) Potentially, as a result of the advice that has been given by Brabners, and in some cases not given, could lead to a potential action against Brabners for damages. We should consider this in detail; and c) Currently the owners do not appear to have any one of their representatives on the Board and as such, I am concerned that the owners are not protected at Boardroom level. Consideration should be given to (perhaps yourself) being appointed to the Board and therefore being in a position to carry out the owners’ wishes. In addition, the position of the MD could also be reviewed (please see my earlier point). I have to say that for this situation to arise at MD level of a Plc is quite extraordinary and in my view in football is unprecedented. I would strongly urge for an urgent review of the structure and corporate governance of the Club in order to avoid a repeat or confrontation between the Board and the owners, both of which would be highly damaging to the Club. Undoubtedly the Club has received over the last few days some bad publicity as a result of the Henning Berg situation and may do so in tomorrow’s press. I would therefore expect that the fans and the press will expect the owners to act decisively on this matter. I wish to reassure both yourselves and the owners from a legal point of view that everything that could be done was done. In addition, the Club will also be liable for not only its own legal costs but those of the advisors to Henning Berg. Was going through some of my notes/correspondence this morning and came across this, It was questions posed to Shebby Singh by a media outlet during the Berg turmoil, which eventually ended with his departure. He does not answer all the questions, but the ones he does answer are quite astounding: 1: Can you tell me what's happened these past few days in Pune, a flavour of the meetings, and the outcome.? A lot of begging and apologies from a confession aided by a mate. Manager dragged to India in support but did not work as Manager is strong minded.2: Who is in effective day to day control at the club? And why does Shaw / Agnew appear to be controlling the "narrative" via what appears on the website?3: Who amended Berg's contract after Mrs D saw it, and why? And will Shaw / Agnew stay at the club? - Shaw amended the contract then tried to hide the purported settlement .... Caught red handed when full settlement was demanded therein.4: what is the situation with Karen / Ian and are they considering their futures? - Ms Silk has resigned ..... Silvester will support his mates for as long as he can with his now famous tagline - I only do what I am told.5: what is the owners' vision for club in the immediate future and over the next few seasons?6: wouldn't it be more sensible to have one senior exec at Ewood who is responsible for running the club (ie: you or whoever as CEO) and then just let them get on with it? How did we reach this whole schism of Shagnew on one side and you on the other? Right from the day I arrived there has been lying,conniving and back stabbing so much so they forgot their duties to the club. I was the stumbling block to their jolly up ....and lo and behold they got caught.7: do you think there has been any corruption by Agnew / Shaw?8: has Jerome Anderson had any meaningful involvement recently? - he muscled in on the Steven Nzonzi deal and got agents commission right at the death.9: when did Kentaro / Venky's settle that legal argument over the management consultancy contract?10: is it fair to say Anderson / Kentaro engineered the takeover from both sides in the first place, gave serial bad advice and filled their pockets, tried to sign third-party players and essentially created the choatic foundations of what is continuing now?11: anything else you think I should know that helps me get the story out? - why were two agents involved in the Jordan Rhodes deal. Mick McGuire is Rhodes agent but how did Kenny Moyes get involved?12: when are you back?

RE Singh, many a story to tell, from him wanting to pay for the marketing of protest, to board wranglings to sacking players by Phone, I'm sure we will touch on this. Agnew once said to me "Twitter and BRFCS Won't sack me" As he set us up in a meeting where he brought Jack Straw in to try and make us go away. He also rang me before he went to Pune, stating he wanted a fan on the board, would I consider halting all protest and walking away from the supporter campaign!!!!!! Action group received a few legal letters, but strangely I never got "ONE", Although my life and that of my wife and children was threatened, whilst we were both subjected to being assaulted, my wife at the time was holding our 8 month old baby. I had to move seats on a weekly basis at Ewood, but my whereabouts was given to people out to cause me harm before match day, and then on match day, through the clubs security. Scratching a scab they say? A lot more was at stake back then. I think the owners received a snow ball, I got a black eye or two, a beat up wife and child and a threats to burn my home down with me in it.

I think the scheme is already out there in the public domain, I do have a strong story on this, and i'm sure Duncan will touch on it when we speak. Its beyond crazy to be honest, but will tell it as it was told to me from a extremely good source.

Fake/citezenship/ passports - Formica, a recipe in Italy. Hidden work permits in drawers at Ewood - Shaw/Agnew - leaving rovers with a decimated medical team - whilst they played King of the castle. Kean's contract written by himself, with ludicrous bonus and a hefty personal loan off rovers for himself Kentaro massive business associate in Venkys pharmaceutical business (this has always bugged me, that relationship of the people who were in Kentaro continues) Yet its still laid out they were naive. Anderson a snake and well out of the picture, but he was never the pied piper, he was just allowed to be one of many lunatics in the asylum. It goes much deeper than him and not on these shores. Why did they get away with it and there will be no retribution? Simple Kentaro were one of the FA's biggest Financial partner/sponsor, with their support massive with our own national team. 95% of gagging orders were issued by our own FA as they knew this was much bigger than Blackburn rovers, and would have had lasting damaging implications to the administration who govern our english game. Regardless of the current climate, £100 million plus later spent, the day they darkened our door, was the day the heart was ripped out of the club. Whatever the future holds, the club will never have that beating heart of being the pillar of our community as long as they own this club. We stood up against the crooks, shouted louder than they could handle and one by one took each one out. BRFCS was a big part of ensuring the likes of Anderson are no more. The FA, Premier League, Football league and Parliament took us serious and had very uncomfortable moments as we sat across the table from us. what this podcast shows, is as fans it was not our job to expose it, or indeed spend our own money to do so. Watched it, and was a good insite. Spoke alot about his time with other clubs and Managers, and very complimentary about them all bar Di Canio , Coyle and Mowbray. Given he was at rovers for four and half seasons he skirted around his time at the club. He liked Lambert who was true to his word of leaving if venkys didnt back the club with cash. He spoke of the treatment of Mulgrew being unfair, given our goals against column did not improve last season. Obviously loved a good session on the beer, as did most of the teams he has played for. Mowbray and Venus giving different views on how they want the side to play, is probably why we have come up short the last couple of seasons. If the players are not sure whats being asked of them, they cant be expected to keep with any game plan. I did sense, he has just left a ship, which has never been as happy as it may look from the outside. A big season ahead for Rovers and Mowbray. We certainly have the numbers to be able to get through injuries and suspensions. We need to show consistency in our play now. We looked world beaters against Wycombe and Derby. However Forest and Cardiff, those two teams sat 10 yards deeper and basically nullified any penetration. It was a similar tale against Newcastle, we had all the ball, but around the 18 yard box, it was trying to thread the eye of the needle. I actually think Rovers do suffer from not having big lads in the attacking third. We could argue, Gallagher and Brereton should be on the end of crosses with their height. However im 5-10, and at their age was scoring 10 to 15 headers a season. Their body shape is all wrong, its easy to defend. They are too static when we hit long to either player. They take up a space, rather than go and meet the ball. Danny Graham was a master of hold up play. Whilst when we get the ball in the box, Gallagher in particular is either static waiting for it to land on his head, rather than making a movement to meet the ball. Or he is just not backing himself to beat his man and score. I think the squad we have should get top 6, but TM will need to come up with plan b, c and d, so we dont become predictable relying on individual moments of brilliance.
