  1. Our owners apparently ventured into kit manufacturer a few years ago, so they must have a network already to sort out Rovers leisure and India is still on the cheapish side for production
  2. Looks like Bolton are about to have a new owner as well https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2019/june/statement-on-behalf-of-the-joint-administrators-for-bolton-wanderers/
  3. If read correctly ,the other stories that it refers to are regarding Leeds, and they say that deal is now dead before going on to the Rovers bit of the story. Agree it is nonsense though looking at the rest of the site, Venky's won't sell anyway with all their commitment, and success just around the corner and finally an end to the quest to make us India's Premier League team EDIT: The website the article is on was registered on the 26th of Feb this year and their facebook (2017) as 110 followers.
  4. All that is left is to see if Spuds can clear a stadium faster than they did in 2002
  5. Possibly, she looked like she was dressed for a Saturday night out in Middlesbrough, think i saw a pack of ciggies in her cleavage
  6. Saddam's fault apparently and his massive build up of mottos of mass destruction
  7. Oh I don't know if he would walk back in, depends how much he wants to leave Norwich and if he pulls the old leg changing bandaged knee trick , then he might hobble in
  8. As long as they keep sending a few million a season over to keep their baby afloat and the only time we hear of them is when the send one or two charity cases over a season, i'll take that, as it looks like they wont be going anywhere soon. Who knows it may help in the ongoing plan to make Rovers India's Premier league team (sarcasm emoji)
  9. Anybody else disappointed this wasn't a thread of pictures of Claudia Schiffer
  10. Apparently at the League play off Semi at Perth Glory last weekend the decision at which end to take penalties was chosen by a FFA official (not the referee) and not by a toss of the coin , it was chosen because of which end looked better for the TV viewer
  11. Continuously , think it may be Notts Forest by a couple of seasons EDIT Both came up from League 1 Based on current runs in the Championship Notts Forest returned for the 2008/09 season (11 seasons inc the one just finished) Leeds returned for the 2010/11 season (8 seasons inc one just finished) Ipswich don't count anymore, but they were on 15 seasons Clubs who have played in the Championship and amount of seasons etc https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_EFL_Championship_clubs
  12. 12 out of 27 seasons in the Premier league . Previous looks more 1st division than 2nd (can't be bothered counting) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Leeds_United_F.C._seasons
  13. Whichever team wins the play off final will be disappointed if John Terry doesn't put on the winning teams shirt and gets on the trophy photo
  14. That will be to relieve the pain of his injury , officer
  15. 150 quid per season apparently https://www.thepfa.com/players/membership
  16. Yes , but BRFCS rule number 33 - Transfer threads subsection 1a. A transfer thread posted on BRFCS is not official unless Luca Toni is mentioned
  17. Fulfilling his destiny at last, Luca Toni coming out of retirement to join Rovers as player/coach
  18. Bogarts (think it was called something else at one stage) on Cranberry Lane? probably not the one your thinking as its not just off Bolton Road , but they did do New romantic nights around that time. Could have been special nights at the Crown Social club or Hollins Grove. Was it called the Red House @old darwen blue on Cravens brow? Seem to remember a band night in a function room there , maybe they had new romantic nights?
  19. Fair play it was quite funny, just goes to show that people don't hold much trust or respect towards the FA, that they could actually be capable of such nonsense.
  20. After all the excitement of the semi's, 0-0 (90 mins) is currently 10/1 for the final Both teams given an allocation of 16,613 tickets for the CL final. Capacity of Ground is 68,000 Category 1: £513 (£410 restricted view) Category 2: £385 (£308 restricted view) Category 3: £154 (£120 restricted view) Category 4: £60
  21. If it is as rumoured that colour, maybe a bit more contrast between greys (and black collar and cuffs) coupled with black shorts wouldn't look to bad compared to some of the grey kits that teams have (Derby etc)
  22. Well think ToMo can cross Barcelona off his European scouting trips, if they struggle at Anfield they are going to struggle on a cold rainy night at Barnsley
  23. Gives him a season to improve at that level before the 20/21 season when we can buy him outright after taking Norwich's place in the Prem
