Harsh Jim. Rovers are playing possibly the best football outside the PL. I can’t remember the last time it was as good as we’re seeing now. We don’t want to lose that do we? We want to build on it surely. what needs to happen is that those above JDT need to realise what we have and give him what he needs.

If people are looking to blame anyone then don’t be looking on the field or at the manager. Those guys are doing a brilliant job given their resources. Look above them. That’s where the club is being let down.

The problem is the rules are too rigid. There should be allowance for safety issues like helmet straps being defective. Time allowed to replace it by the batting side and time allowed for the bowling team to get their overs in.

I’m struggling to remember anyone worse over the last 60 years TBH. Its a shame we’re talking about it to be honest because JDT - with everything he’s had to battle against since he’s been here - has got more out of a group of young lads than I ever thought possible.
