  1. I reckon he’ll go over the weekend. He has NOWHERE to hide.
  2. It will take an awfully hard face to sit this one out. He’s getting towards Keans level now.
  3. Sherwood says Bournemouth are absolutely coasting through the game and rovers are having to work hard to keep up. Mowbray says we’re only losing 1-0 and we’ve created loads,
  4. To be honest, I reckon any kind of petition originating from one source, in this case BRFCS could be counterproductive. Ideally voices from all sections of supporters and supporters groups - without any obvious foundation would be more productive with the club.
  5. If we changed the manager we could end up like Bolton or Wigan? Well if we changed manager we could finish up like any of the other top six in the Championship as well couldn’t we? Which do they want?
  6. I was there. Riverside for me.
  7. All those games we lost 1-0. If you keep a clean sheet, you don’t lose. and out of all those, how many more might the opposition have scored? Plenty in my view.
  8. Mowbray would have everybody believe that this season has been a fresh start. He says he’s finally able to play a style of football that he’s wanted to play but couldn’t because of the structure of the squad. Danny Graham moving on was one of the big factors in that. He wants to play a fast, passing game that’s built from the back. The reality in my opinion is that the team are playing the way they are because he has no other options. When you don’t have a striker worth the name, or a striker like Shefki Kuqi who could come on and rough the opponents up a bit or give them something else to think about - like a threat in the air, when you don’t have a wide man capable of getting behind the full back, you have no option other than pass, pass pass. When every player in the squad offers exactly the same as the player he’s replacing, you can’t change anything. You can only pass, pass, pass. This season isn’t a fresh start with a new and better style of playing as he would have us believe, it’s the result of his 4 year tenure.
  9. Time to go before he does any more damage.
  10. It has Al. You weren’t that well at one point, hope you’re okay.
  11. Which one of the Raos is knowledgeable enough to successfully run an English football club? Seriously which one?
  12. I mentioned a petition at one point, but with Rev’s excellent letter and a good number of rovers fans visibly behind it, this would be even better. No guarantees that it will change anything of course, but most CEO’s with genuine concern for the fans and their views, it would cause them to think again.
  13. In my opinion Al, the more sigs the better.
  14. The text that came with it said it was in Blackburn.
  15. Mike England with his wife Gwen Sept ‘64.
  16. That’s what adds “spice”* to this case. *probably the wrong word.
  17. I find this kind of thing quite riveting. Watching how cases are argued in court in real life situations is so interesting and educational. I saw the prosecution set out their case and part of the defendants case being set out before sky decided we should be watching Boris Johnson instead. That wouldn’t be my choice. Theres so much unknown about the actual facts of what happened on that day along with Floyds drug use and heart problems Also, it shouldn’t be forgotten that the defence doesn’t have to prove anything. They just need to put doubt into the jurors minds.
  18. Their batsmen might struggle against swing though. They usually do.
  19. I was referring to the Coventry three Tomphil. ive amended my post.
  20. Just more dumbing down of the club that Jack Walker left us. Im sure the Coventry three hate what he did here. They obviously hate anyone with ambition for the club, - anyone who thinks we can do better than what they offer.
  21. Huge target but this is absolute carnage from England and Ben Stokes.
  22. 22 off his latest over of bowling in the slot to Pant.
  23. I’m still trying to figure what Tom Curran brings to an international one day team.
  24. The best way to oppose this, the most effective way to oppose it would be for a sizeable petition from rovers fans to be handed in to the club with the publicity to back it up. I wish the residents well but fear the only way they will stop it is by opposing it on solid planning grounds which might be very difficult to do. A petition with thousands of rovers fans names on it might make them think again.
