  1. I do. To us living this side of Blackburn it’s the biggest Derby. We live amongst these northenders and have to tolerate the inane ramblings of how they’re such a big club - even though they aren’t, never have been or will be.
  2. Oh sorry 47er, yes I meant Venky. Why did they come in and do what they did? They didn’t know what they had - I hope they do now.
  3. It’s great to see so many rovers fans rejuvenated again. Why oh why, did you come in like a bull in a china shop. Look what you had at your finger tips.
  4. Maybe she couldn’t be bothered. All I know is that when I looked online as a non ST holder, it would only allow me to buy block L tickets. She was probably just using the same system.
  5. Well I got tickets. This is my first game for quite some time. Venky managed to pee off a supporter of 52 years so we’ll done to them. Rang up and got allocated block L. Asked for the centre blocks but was told that they were only going to ST holders, which is absolutely fine. ST holders should - and will always get looked after. Looking forward to it.
  6. Can’t imagine why I wouldn’t. In fact I used to regularly give opinions of academy players when I watched the youth team at Brockhall and at Ewood in the youth cup. I really don’t see a problem here. If it was high praise Brereton was getting, that would be 100% acceptable from those fans who think it’s too early to give any kind of opinion when it’s not a good opinion. Just roll with it, it’s football and it’s a messageboard.
  7. Well it’s a bit more than a couple of sub appearances, but why not? How long should they wait - what’s the magic number of playing minutes? im quite happy to say I haven’t seen any qualities at all so far. Which qualities have you seen?
  8. It might take a while to see if, or how a player can blend into a team, or if he can perform consistently, - but it doesn’t take very long at all to see what a players real qualities are. Heck, that should be apparent pretty much straight away. So, someone tell me what real qualities you’ve seen in the lad?
  9. Secured my OT ashes ticket for the measles sum of ........ £85. very, very close to the limit.
  10. Yes you do. I remember it as well but can’t remember the circumstances.
  11. We’ve had this kind of viewpoint on here for as long as I’ve been posting and it’s always started arguments. what exactly do you mean? Do you mean only 1 positive posts or 2 no posts about him should be made? its all very silly and folk will say what they see, what they like and what they don’t like. Yes, he’s probably being played out of position and yes he’s not started yet, but so what? Fans understand this when they’re commenting on him. Seems to me that early views on players are welcome as long as they’re “positive” which is ridiculous. For me, I haven’t seen one moment of quality from him yet, not one. Does that mean I want him to fail? Absolutely not. He looks like he doesn’t know what’s hit him. I defy anyone to say otherwise.
  12. Precisely, it’s not the end of the world. Tonight we lost, but overall we’re a better team than Swansea.
  13. Doesn’t suit either of them but it’s obvious why he does it. Dack has more chance of holding the ball up and Brereton should be able to get up and down. It doesn’t work, but nor would it work vice versa.
  14. Again. Without DG we have no one able to play his role.
  15. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that we almost always struggle after Graham is substituted around the 60 mins mark.
  16. What do you suggest we do if Graham were to suffer a long term injury tomorrow?
  17. Don’t worry, he’s OK.
  18. Well, from what I’ve seen and from what I’ve read from the Forest fan on here, Brereton game revolves solely around being able to cause problems with his strong running. Reminds me of Brett Emerton in some ways. The problem with having very little apart from that, is that you’re going to struggle in the many games where the opposition doesn’t give you space - and that’s why I’m very sceptical about him, especially at the quoted price.
  19. What a good win. Hoped we wouldn’t have dropped so deep in last twenty, but bottom line was it worked. Unfair to pick a MOTM because I thought everyone played really well. Credit all round today. We are a very difficult side to play against and a difficult side to beat. Leeds found that out today.
  20. Haven’t read much of this thread and only just seen Waggott comments about his disappointment at the attendances. Basically the problem isn’t at all down to the fans, it’s down to the owners and Waggott himself. The older fans on here warned the owners that once supporters stopped coming down here it would be so, so difficult to get them back. We argued that it would take a long time coupled with a lot of success. We know this club, the owners and Waggott don’t. That’s the problem.
  21. Your whole opinion of him Chaddy, seems to be that he makes runs but players don’t pass to him. Really? Players make runs to drag teams around all over the park, all of the time. They have to do that, but at the same time get involved and contribute. So this idea that it’s down to the other players that he’s not getting involved is ridiculous.
  22. We’ve had loads of players making a first team position their own at the age of 19 or even younger. Playing up front basically comes down to natural ability. I also don’t think it’s too early yet to make some kind of judgement.
  23. ?
