  1. He's back on RTE doing punditry. He left the Ireland set up over fall out from a video played to the players before the England game. Difficult to figure out the full story on what exactly happened. I would get him in as a coach, definitely not as a manager yet.
  2. I am an idiot. I have definitely paid for Ifollow at least once where the game was on sky red button. Must get onto swag for a refund
  3. I think you are taking my comments too literally. It was a slight tease of the lads and their inability to criticize. I'm not watching in the hope of anything from them, to suggest that is a thing someone might realistically do is pretty comical 😅😂 If they don't criticize the manager, don't worry, I won't be tortured 😂
  4. Harsh to say Moyes is a poor manager. Did excellently at Everton before the United job basically derailed his career. I agree West ham is a good fit, but I don't think it's that surprising he is doing well there. He would have far more in his locker than Mowbray.
  5. Don't attack me now, but would it not be beneficial to have a state of the art , combined underage and senior training center? Like if it was being built from scratch now, that's what everyone would want. Obviously I'm not from the town, so from a planning point of view, if something was to be built near me, it would impact me on a day to day basis more and I would have a different set of priorities.
  6. I would say we are more likely to end up with a Gordan Strachan, than a Wagner. We could end up with worse than either too, which is worryingly the most likely outcome
  7. Good question. I think he believed his way and this team could get to the play offs, but now he is in full on self-preservation/defence mode. Annoyingly he never acknowledges his part in this and the fact he has had a great time of it here with transfers in and out. He never, ever acknowledges that. He knows it, but he won't say it. He has failed, whilst been given a number of advantages other managers didn't get. I do think he has done considerable good for the club, but the game is up and he is only going to tarnish his time here, if he hasn't done so already. God almighty, imagine we went down and they stuck with him a la Kean. "The best man to bring us back up, been there and done that!" Sorry for ending on that terrifying note
  8. Totally. I bet the way he has always done it will never get him out of this division again. I think he knows that the end might be in sight. Or maybe not.
  9. Exactly! It's crazy that he gets away with spouting this
  10. I was referring to Armstrong Although I imagine it's the same for Mowbray. I agree it should be done now , for the reasons you mention.
  11. The low numbers are down to form, nothing else. The competition with Sky is rare, plus not everyone has Sky. Illegal streams, minute when it comes to Rovers I would say. I think fans want to do the right thing and pay for Ifollow, the relatively high, under he circumstances and with little benefit, of season tickets sales shows that. I will probably pay for Ifollow tonight, but mostly I want to hear if the commentators have now turned. It will be interesting to hear! Doubt they will be too critical though. I won't watch every game now going forward now and I couldn't have imagined that a few months ago. We are being served up shite now, with a side of Mowbray nonsense after every game
  12. “I think the philosophy is what gets you there. If you’re an attack minded team, if you score goals, I understand the philosophy of keeping clean sheets and adhere to that as well, but I would prefer to defend by attacking and that’s how I’ve always done it and managed to get a team out of this league, winning this league, by scoring over 100 goals. “You can do it and that’s the way to do it in my opinion.” There we have it, his issues in a nutshell. Deluded.
  13. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19127258.weve-enquired---mowbray-lucas-joao-reading-threat/ What in the name of God is this shite about? Didn't Joao cost Reading £6 million? What is Mowbray on about baulking at Wednesdays price? He spent almost that each on 2 strikers that don't score. It doesn't make sense.
  14. I think it's safe to assume that he is off in the summer
  15. Equal on points with Forrest now. How does Mowbray explain all these clubs with new managers doing well, even clubs who spent considerably less, whilst we are where we are? He has had time, money and no pressure to sell. The LT reporters need to grow a backbone and come at him hard. Even if it means restricted access, let that be the story then. The clubs future is at stake, as is my mental health!
  16. This is such a horrible situation. I want us to win so that we avoid relegation, but I can't stand watching Mowbray in the dug out now or reading or listening to his post match interviews. Think we could get spanked tonight though if we concede first (which we probably will). Jaoa could really bully our 2 CBs. Mowbray out Venkys out
  17. He's here until summer at least, isn't he? Ungh
  18. Eddie Howe managed Burnley too and I think we would all take him
  19. Ya, it's the summer at the earliest, barring we actually get into serious relegation trouble.
