  1. Wigan game at Ewood last year a prime example of this
  2. Souness is old school and straight as a die, I can see how he isn't able to work with modern footballers. Add his temper into that and you have a recipe for another heart attack.
  3. Need to divide that sweet TV money out more evenly. The big clubs don't care about football, just themselves. The fact that the idea muted for this "euro super league" is that the 8 founding members can't get relegated for the first 20 seasons tells us all we need to know.
  4. If there was to be a PL2, I would like to see 20 clubs in it. 4 promotions to PL1 per year. The top 2 and then 3rd and 4th play off against the teams who come 18th and 17th in PL1, respectively. Having said that, I really like the Championship as it stands.
  5. Not sure if you are correct on point A. Seems to be conflicting info online. Anyway, I think Warne is being a bit petty bringing that up. They were lucky to get a point, he should just leave it at that.
  6. I have watched plenty of both and that is my opinion. Grealish is quick and direct, but Dack has more skills and flicks, is a better goal scorer and arguably better at laying on assists. Hence why I say he is more talented. The stats this year are backing that up. If we swapped players, I bet Dack would end up doing better for Villa than Grealish would for us!
  7. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17215687.blackburn-rovers-1-rotherham-united-1-paul-warne-reaction/?ref=mac How does he work out that our goal was offside? What an odd and sore comment. A- It hit one of their players B-He was onside regardless
  8. Greed in football. Every club just wants to improve their own position. It's a pity clubs don't realise that a rising tide lifts all boats. Starts at the top, but now it appears to be trickling down too.
  9. I think the only difference is that Grealish has played more in the Championship and the Premier league. Dack is far more talented. He offers far more all round than Grealish
  10. This should be interesting. I wouldn't hear a bad word said about him, but I have blocked out how it all ended. Looking forward to listening
  11. He only played left mid one or two games. To be honest I expected a different player. I thought he would be really quick. He's decent on the ball and solid enough definsivley, but he has two major flaws in my opinion 1-final ball is poor 2-not great at judging high crosses into the box. I thought he would take Williams place, but now I would prefer Williams starting to be honest. The two of them may improve yet. Fairly young
  12. Watched the highlights there. Graham really should have scored the second half chance where he was teed up by Dack. Bread and butter for a striker in form. Armstrong looked really busy in and around their box. Looked like the keeper got a touch on the one that hit the bar. Brereton did really, really well for the goal. Picked it up on the edge of the box(first touch not great), he then proceeded to turn and run directly at their defence. Was very alert to get onto the Bennet cross that got in behind then. Needs to start soon I think.
  13. That would be the ideal scenario, as he could also have his own strengths. The thing is I don't think he can do what Graham does yet. At his best, Graham is a very smart centre forward who uses his strength and experiences together to get the better of defenders. Brereton can learn that, but could take time. I thought Graham looked sluggish in the last 2-3 games. Finishing a little off too. Mowbray seems afraid to drop him though. It's kind of understandable. An experienced target man on loan in January could be an option
  14. The thing about Nyambe that might make him more of a target for a Premier league club in January than Dack, is the physical attributes. Big strong and athletic full backs are most certainly in demand. He always had that, but now he seems really comfortable on the ball too. I would say he is a better full back than either to the Ollssons when they were here
  15. I thought he would have been a great option for us. A costly loan though for a team with aspirations of consolidating in the league though.
  16. Mercer I think it was said he isn't the man to 'get us to the promised land" Is that not a call for him to go?
  17. We are a funny team. Just as likely to beat the first place team 1-0 as the bottom placed team. Every game is a battle for us. The lads deserve credit for that. We need Armstrong and Graham to start chilling in with more goals. We can't keep relying on Dack to dig us out. Although we probably will
  18. Glad to see no over reactions on here anyway I do think we need to look at Dack and Graham being guaranteed starters. Dack keeps scoring, but he isn't doing half as much from open play
  19. A win would put us into the play off places, as things synd
  20. Rothwell for Dack with Palmer to the middle? Brereton for Graham?
  21. A few hundred more if there wasn't a 3 pound charge? Hardly.
