How did Willy Trap play for the States?
-
Wouldn't be the first one. I remember Van Persie a few years ago was average enough for Arsenal, then just before he was out of contract something flipped and he became world class. I do honestly think there is more too it with Evans. Mowbarys influence cannot be underestimated. We are a bit skeptical because he is almost out of contract and hasn't always played this well, but he would not be the only player who has improved under the manager-they all have. He has had a good run of staying injury free too. He looked good for Northern Ireland last night, far better than Hendrick for the Republic. He actually ran rings around him.

I think we are shite. Worst I ever remember. We just don't look comfortable on the ball. It's like there is no gameplan. Players that play well for their clubs look nervous for Ireland. It's weird. Ya, we were spoilt with Robbie Keane. Got a good 20 years out of him though! International football is a real nuisance now. Much prefer league games. I'm starting to sound like an oul lad now giving out about national team lol

I had turned the game off at that point, but heard he made a big mistake alright. God that was bad. Northern Ireland should have won

Northern Ireland have a lad playing called Whyte. Winger for Oxford. Looks pretty decent

First start for Ireland tonight. I can see him making the place his own. Let's see how his partnership with Rovers favourite Duffy goes. It's actually 3 at the back with Egan from Sheffield United.

Great news. Two years means he will probably finish his career here. As captain and leader it sends a strong message and shows long term planning -
True. As long as they keep writing the cheques for Tony, that's the beginning and end of the input needed from them.

I suppose you could say that marginal gains from where we are currently would mean making the play-offs.

He doesn't look much older now than he did in the mid 90s. He has grown into his weathered old face if anything He is probably my favourite Rovers player. An old cliche but they don't make em like him anymore

I agree it should be removed 100%

I am happy enough to go along with that narrative
