Championship 2018-19

We signed him not long after he ripped us apart at Ewood in the 2nd leg. Kenny came up with the 'if you can't beat 'em, sign em' comment after he arrived. I was at the home leg and just remember him being very quick. I get nostalgic for terracing when I see videos like that. Good times! And how good was that Shearer fella..... -

"Oh, Fack a Dack" will be cry from our cockernee chums when Bradley smashes in a last minute winner. -
I think we can all name at least 3 who desperately want everyone to think they are ITK but don't actually have a clue.
-
I'll rephrase. There's absolutely nobody on here who has posted any advance news of any transfers that have proved to be accurate since Mowbray came in.
-
Absolutely nobody on here is ITK.

It's the extra cost for me. I have a ST and that's all I can afford really. I don't do away games anymore due to cost and I wouldn't do a Tuesday night cup game normally due to high ticket price and cost of transport. At £10 I can justify it but it will still be a £30+ evening out due to transport. So, yeah, "Rovers on a Tuesday against Newcastle reserves in a hugely devalued competition at the right price till I die"
-
I wouldn't have gone at £25. I will at a tenner.

Was this you LV? -
Not transfer related but Mogga is bigging up Butterworth in the LT today. “Danny Butterworth travelled with us at the weekend because when he trains with the first team he rips it up. He can stick it through people’s legs and burst past them like Bradley (Dack) does and then rattle it in to the bottom corner. Somewhere along the line he will probably get an opportunity – but I’m not sat here saying we’re going to be relying on young 19-year-old kids" Does he play in Dack's position?
-
A bit of a waste of space really. He might fare better in the No10 role if that's where BCFC are going to play him. He's obviously talented but probably needs a free role high up the pitch, not stuck out wide where he has to do a lot of tracking back.
-
Sounds good
-
The 'rep' points have been remove too. The forum is being slowly dismantled for no apparent reason.
-
He's not that great on his left foot so he always checks back inside. It's the modern way. Inverted BS.
-
How very dare you. I have been paying attention, sir. I remember him saying something about it taking a few windows to get the squad he wants. I don't remember a specific '3 window transfer strategy' that Waggott and Mogga have both gone public on. If you've got the link that would be most illuminating?
-
Armstrong not quick? He's rapid in full flight.
-
You can't say 'lets get back to reality' and then come up with a random numbered transfer strategy
-
With the BB signing in mind, and the price, I'd hate to see a player he's not confident about.
-
He may not be able to play the lone striker role well but it won't be because he's weak or unable to win headers was my point. And it wasn't just good movement that got him those headed goals but because he has a cracking leap. Those youtube goals clearly show that. We'll be doing well to get anyone as good as Graham for the hold-up role but SG may bring something a bit different in that he's a lot quicker and can drag defenders around. I'd love to have him back.
-
It's seems an enduring myth that he was weak and poor in the air. I look forward to the day we have a striker as good as this lad at scoring with headers. He's got a better leap on him than Graham and BB put together. Graham doesn't actually win a lot in the air, he uses his experience, body and strength ( and also a little shove in the small of the back of the defender) to give himself the space to bring the ball down or nod/chest it to our players. For that reason he doesn't have to win a lot of flick ons.
-
AA will benefit from that. He's always making that run but never gets the ball.

The Gallagher stuff is an obvious link. Mowbray likes him according to reports and the loan deal for him was mooted by Nixon today in the S*n. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/06/southamptons-sam-gallagher-reportedly-on-hull-and-blackburns-rad/ Reed on a permanent in the summer is also an obvious guess. A Prem defender on loan could be anybody. Literally anyone can say that. Not sure how all that equates to a '£12m window' though if none of them are permanent?.
