Tbh, performances aside, being as we're intent on blowing any reason to try this season we may as well play players who will be here next year. Diaz and Morton shouldn't even be on the bench from here for me.

Absolutely pathetic by the club again. There's absolutely zero ambition from top to bottom and then they expect the fans to buy into it. GB has messed up with recruitment, but JDT either doesn't care, or has no ability to change. To lose 17+ games in a season and by in the top 10 is pure luck, that is absolutely pathetic. If you add in the away performances and the absolute inability to show any amount of fight, that screams that the manager isn't good enough. Warnock is showing what a good manager can really do with a bad squad. He's levels above JDT.

No balls in this team. Season is done, only further thrashings v Preston and Burnley to come. I though we'd turned a corner in February but it's clear we're not up to it. Piss poor since Morton came back into the team and JDT doesn't seem to care. Yeah, Warnock knows how to get a team up for a game. Venky's blowing him off for Coyle really is one of the dumbest decisions they've made since we went down.

Really not a fan of Morton even in the changed formation, as I've seen very little to suggest he's up to it at this level. However, JDT clearly wants to try something new and that's what we need to do because today is absolutely a must win game.

You say that but the more seasons we blow good runs at the play-offs the more likely it will never happen. The money gap between the PL and Championship is far too large now and I'd say we were much more likely to drop to League 1 and stay there then they are to drop to the Championship and stay there for any prolonged period of time. I can't see anything other than a 4 or 5 goal defeat at Ewood, our lot have proven they have no bottle in big games and with the psychological blow of (by then) blowing another play-off run they won't be up for it.

I love how we have this cycle where the club complain no one turns up, and then the second anyone does turn up we don't even try. Literally every time. On another note, hadn't realised we were on a negative goal difference either. We shouldn't be anywhere near 6th in all honesty.

And there it is. Not a chance we're staying in the play-offs. We've been gash since Morton came back in for Buckley.

Other results may do but letting Norwich close this gap will probably be enough for us to drop out by the end of the season. A draw is the absolute minimum we need from this game.

Waiting for the tram back to my car. What a sickener. We were all over them and creating chance after chance, and the second I saw those subs I knew what was coming. Adam Wharton and Dolan should have come on to keep the press going, and instead we sit back and throw the game. It's this kind of decision making that leaves tactical questions at JDT's door. Also send Morton back to Liverpool. I don't want to see him in blue and white again.

Whilst we were unbeaten for a while let's not pretend that doesn't include some shocking performances against some dross sides. Our run-in is almost entirely against teams in and around us and this is not the kind of statement result we needed.

How many performances like this away from home is this now? Yes, the players aren't great bit major question marks that JDT still can't find another solution. I was no fan of TM bit we rarely got pasted this badly (bar the odd one). This has been what... the 5th or 6th time this season?
