I think he will play:- Travis and Conway wide. Brereton in Dacks role. Armstrong through the middle. Personally I'd keep Armstrong wide, put Brereton up top with Travis in Dack's role.

As critical as I've been of Brereton so far, I just have that feeling for tonight. 9/1 first goal. Either 25 yard screamer or in off his arse. A lot rests with Travis to get us up the pitch with that line-up. If we are level with 20 minutes left, that is some cavalry we have on the bench.

The offer itself isn't bad. But with 5 of the 6 games either on Sky or behind the red button I think the point is that even those pushing fnobody believes it will work in increasing attendances for those game, even those pushing for more price-led deals.

I saw from 80 minutes onwards at Brentford and Brereton did nothing. Rothwell is not a left winger and Bennett is not a second striker. We can agree to disagree here, but the fact is that when Dack went off we lost all the momentum we had just been building up to that point. Either the substitutions had a negative effect, or Palmer coming on changed the game.

The problem is whenever we make substitutions up front, the players who come on don't show enough to justify doing it again. If we brought Nuttall or Brereton on and they kept changing the flow of the games, or nicking goals, then you would understand it. But in most of the games we play, when we remove Graham (and to some extent Dack) we don't get any better. The other stupid thing yesterday was not putting Rothwell in Dacks position. We took him off and it meant putting 2 more players out of position.

I agree Dack is getting a bit of stick but you said he was getting blamed whilst the players below him got a free pass. That's not happening at all. The same poster who calls him tubby and slow rips practically all of the team to bits a few pages back.
