Regardless of whether he went down or not, are you saying the defender didn't put his arm on him to deliberately stop him breaking clear? Is that not a foul?

If Morata had been trying to sprint clear and had put his arms on a defender like the defender did for the "penalty", the ref gives a free kick every time. If the ref decided not to give a penalty fine but to book him, when the hand on him pventing a clear run is obvious, was ridiculous . He had no need whatsoever to book Morata and that ultimately led to Morata's rant and sending off. He got the Willian penalty wrong as well and also failed to give a clear Chelsea free kick at the end when they were down to 9. Ref had a shocker whilst trying to get his 5 minutes of fame on the Beeb.

Antonson's ball in to Dack for the 3rd looked simple but how many times did we see the likes of Feeney mess those situations up. Full steam ahead with 3 of the next 4 games at home.

Both. A good manager can blend a team of adequate players into a successful side. There is now a massive worry if Mowbray can do that, especially after witnessing that @#/? today. He seems to think we can keep it tight and almost overpower the opposition to get results. Like we don't need to work at it. However the squad is simply not as good as people thInk. On what they have showed in Rovers colours, the players simply lack the talent people think they have. As defenders, Ward, Caddis and Williams aren't great. As cultured as Mulgrew is on the ball, he's not the best out and out defender. Downing has done well fortunately, but we're solid rather than blessed in defence. Midfield,is a funny one as it has improved since relegation. Smallwood shows up how bad Lowe was and we have a lot of average options. However, none who started today have anything in their game to unlock a defence. That job falls to Dack and Chapman but they are currently benched. From what we have seen Dack is living off reputation though. I'm Yet to see his true value. Up front is another quandary. Grahams purple patch (10 weeks?) ended long ago and neither Antonsson or Samuel look like they will create lots, or that they will sniff out 20 goals. I think this is another area we seriously lack in. In short, watching how the games are panning out, Mowbray should be doing better as we are playing poor and being overrun in many games. However I still don't believe we have a squad that is in the best two in the league.

Agree about King and Gestede. However some people blindly supported Gaz when he started dropping them for Brown up front !! That was the final straw for me with Bowyer.

I see the Rovers website home page only has comments from Mowbray. As he is only a head coach and not even a manager, that shouldn't be his remit. However again it is left to the person that picks the team to front up as the face of BRFC once more. Pity we've not got a director of football or something to communicate with the fans at a moment like this.

If I was Mowbray I would walk. No question. Another season here with the squad we will have next year and he'll never get a job in football again. His record since he got here means he may well get a shot in league one somewhere else next season once the managerial merry-go-round starts again.
