Did someone not cut inside from the left and absolutely pea-roll one at the keeper. -

When Nyambe is fit, the answer to the Bell or Williams debate is probably Bennett. -
Well I've done my bit. I've got a party of 10 going with me next Tuesday, only 2 of which are ST holders and 3 have never been to Ewood before. If it was £20 there would be 3 of us max.

On reflection, it was a good result away at Newcastle. It's just frustrating to be the better side and yet lose a lead again through our own making. It's worth remembering that Joselu and Kenedy alone moved for almost £12million between them in their last transfers. They may have made changes but they weren't putting all their youth side in. Travis is proving.to be a diamond in midfield. I thought the whole team closed down better than we were doing last month. Same again in the replay and we have a cracking chance of going through to a next round which will feature Burnley, Bolton, Stanley and maybe Preston in the draw as well as all the big guns. Hope Rovers keep the prices sensible for the replay.

This old chestnut again. Can you name us the last 2 seasons scapegoats then please? Ben gets questioned because he doesn't do very much in a Rovers shirt.
-
I bet you can't watch it. ?

Bet365 are legally streaming all of the 12.30pm kick offs in the FA Cup today in the UK. Therefore I would imagine the Rovers game will also be streamed.

Bauer has played 18 games this season so that's not true in his case.

He's been fit since November and playing well apparently. Prising him away now Charlton have move into the top 6 will be difficult.

Rovers v West Brom 1 Jan 2019

Shows how people see things differently. In the first half I thought Bell was shocking. He got beat practically every time. Travis was excellent and, as everyone says, it would be criminal if he lost his place after that. Bennet was shaky, especially the last 30 minutes, but his defensive header from within the 6 yard box in the first half was a cracking clearance. Armstrong was very good but mainly down to his pace. You know within the first 10 minutes If he is going to play well or not depending on whether he goes past the full back early. As good as Reed was, he's not a wide. An and his crossing was poor. Stupid penalty to give away by Dack but loved hIs finish. As we look to be neither going up or down, full strength side at Newcastle please Tony. -
Is Chapman fit ?

Gayle and Rodriguez are both out tomorrow. -
Hence why I've put on what he has shown so far. But he has had chances - against Norwich, Birmingham and yesterday, and has failed to find the target. Against Norwich, he failed to get the basics right. Now I'm not saying he's a complete dud as you are right, we haven't seen enough of him. However if you have watched his appearances for Rovers and haven't been disappointed then you are easily pleased. When Samuel is back he should be straight back in the squad in Brereton place, and that's saying something!!
-
No but playing well for England a couple of years ago wont make his performances so far for Rovers seem any better. He may suddenly become a world beater but on what he has shown so far he looks poor. I don't understand why people get agitated and argue against that.
-
Forget the price tag. Had we got him for £1million, I'd be saying he still looks like a very poor player and signing. The £7mill figure is just a kick in the balls. Ben Gladwin cost far, far less and he got called out for looking a very poor signing despite the fact we saw far less of him than we have of Brereton. The scapegoat jibe is another throwaway comment some fans use. It's not about looking for a scapegoat. It's about giving opinions on what we see the players do in an blue and white shirt. We were questioning the signing and his impact long before this sticky spell.

It's Lenihan. Mulgrew gets caught under the ball for the second and Williams doesn't not help by not spotting the danger. -

Bit of a myth that Mercer. For the last 5 years, the three relegated teams have been in the bottom five at Christmas in this league.
