  1. “We werent outclassed by Leeds and created more chances than them” 😂😂😂😂
  2. There was an instance in the first half where they played a long ball over the top. Our defenders were on the half way line and their guy was a yard or so offside in our half. He chased the ball through and Wahlsted had to come out of his area to clear the ball. Had their guy not chased it LW would have just picked it up in his box. The offside flag went up only as Wahlsted played it leading to the free kick to restart being taken almost on the edge of our area, instead of 2 yards from the half way line as it used to. I fail to see any logic in why the free kick is now taken there, as the guy influenced play the minute he went for the ball and forced Wahlsted to come out. All that does is penalise Rovers. Bonkers pointless rule change which I can see no benefit from. Typically, we then played it short, gave it away and conceded a free kick on the edge of our box.
  3. He looks lazy and uncommitted. I thought he was bright in his first few games but @jim mk2 may have sussed him fairly quickly.
  4. Against Leicester we played through them at times and created good opportunities that we wasted. We looked more like scoring than we did today. I thought we lost every key battle and didn’t lay a glove on Leeds today. Leeds might not be creatively as good or as pleasing on the eye, but they looked a more solid, organised unit and I can see why they deservedly won at Leicester a few weeks ago.
  5. On the game, I thought they won all of their key battles and were probably the best side at Ewood this year. Saw no Leeds fans in the JW Upper.
  6. He’s a good attacking right back and looked decent when pushed further forward on the right. To be played repeatedly out of position on the left side of midfield is. worryingly Mowbray-Esque and baffling.
  7. Yep. Looks dirty out there today.
  8. We'd better keep our corners short then.
  9. It’s to JDTs credit that he himself calls out this lack of ambition time and time again, when he could just use it to stay on easy street.
  10. He'll be released in the summer due to wages, with some guy who has scored goals in the Polish 4th tier coming in as replacement.
  11. Just noticed we haven’t played Cambridge since Shearer’s cruciate gave way fully in January 1993. Ive never understood how he did it against Leeds on Boxing Day, and yet our medical staff somehow put him on the pitch against Cambridge in a league cup game a couple of weeks later only for him to break down almost straight away.
  12. In my experience of similar things, the majority of people who are interested in standing will complete the survey. Only people who would be affected by it would really object, and as we do not know which area would be affected I doubt they will bother speaking up / completing the survey at this time. Therefore it will be slanted to being positive.
  13. I thought 'Big Club' came from the Savage transfer. I thought an annoyed Bruce said something like "I can't understand why he'd leave a big club like ours to go there", and it stuck.
  14. No need to wait. He starts. Physical bombardment incoming,
  15. Irons, Irons, Irons Enjoy 😀😀
  16. No shit. That’s why I put maybe.
  17. Villa quite impressive second half, although Spurs leave too much space. It’s like Postecoglou is trying to do it the Kompany way. Everton just too wasteful.
  18. If we had played Kaminski at the back end of last season ( the keeper who is currently starting to earn great reviews in the Premier League) instead of the inferior Pears then maybe we wouldn’t have needed the cash as much a few weeks later.
  19. I thought the budget cuts happened after the Ennis signing - hence the backtracking on the Batth deal. Ennis was signed in the early part of the transfer window. He was part of Greggy-boys big solution to our striking problem. Telalovic on the other hand is a desperate result of the budget cuts. JDT’s actions speak louder than words on his view on them. Ones a crock, ones a flop.
  20. Not so much hard, but anyone remember one of Samba’s first games for Rovers when he just bounced Julio ‘Beast’ Baptiste off the ball. Think it was the Benni McCarthy late winner in the cup game.
  21. Because the southern part of the old region of Macedonia is literally part of Greece.
  22. Dominic Samuel just signed for Ebbsfleet at the age of 29. Scored for them on his debut last weekend.
  23. He's been available for the last 8 games now. He's not not getting time because he's not fit. He's not getting time because JDT clearly doesn't fancy him. Even in desperation when we need a goal at home.
