  1. If only all games at this level had VAR eh Coventry. Lucky sods.
  2. To be fair, as you’ve said you don’t use social media to follow Rovers it clearly isn’t aimed at you. So to call 9year old kids that probably like it morons is, err, moronic. I don’t think it’s a great video but I know from our own social media at work that you can show the product we actually sell all you want, but you get far better response when you feature actual staff or their pets! I don’t get it, but people don’t get why I miss 5 minutes before half time to get a pint. Each to their own.
  3. He’s probably currently watching Sky Sports thinking FFS.
  4. No idea about him, but you usually get fans of the team players are leaving saying actually he won’t make the step up and he’s overrated / limited. However the vast majority of Plymouth fans seem genuinely disappointed and think he may do well.
  5. If that’s the case it should be a lifetime ban. Edit -just seen he didn’t play in any of those games which is slightly different, but he’s still lucky with 8 months.
  6. MGP, Charlie and that Coventry set piece taker from last month all show it can be mastered.
  7. Exactly what I was going to say. It’s a ‘clever’ answer by someone I am learning is very clever about what he says.
  8. So Greg doesn't believe that if he had managed to get his striking transfer targets and O'Brien' through the door it wouldn't have made 1 point difference. This despite the fact we ended up playing Hedges, Dolan, Szmodics etc.. up top in various games towards the end of the season. Yeah, ok.
  9. There's a pre-season thread here which mentioned Spain in the opening post so you're better checking in that thread. The LT has confirmed there will be overseas games but nothing has been announced.
  10. Ok. And so they thought that asking a guy who lived in Norway would have a detailed opinion on a Dane managing in Sweden? Fucking idiots. MGP probably told then he’d once had a falling out with Warnock on a touchline and didn’t like him.
  11. So they asked a Norwegian about a Dane who was managing in Sweden.
  12. It’s not black and white. If a ball comes into the box and the keeper calls the defender has to leave it. In that instance the defender is aware that there’s a good chance the keeper is coming. However Pickering is in no way expecting a shout at all at Millwall. Why would the keeper be 5 years outside his area and heading the ball away when Pickering has the situation control? He’s probably deciding whether to try and control it, or head it back, when at the last second he gets a bizarre call from Pears and has to make an absolute split second decision. Of course he should then leave it and if Pears heads it into danger so be it. But he decides to try and take control of the situation and it goes wrong. The confusion in what is a simple situation is caused by Pears making a rash decision to come out when there is absolutely no need. But Pickering should heed the call. Both at fault.
  13. There’s plenty of of £36 and £52 tickets. It’s better than I thought it would be to be honest.
  14. Playoff final ticket prices. I was just curious. PRICES Cat 1 - £98 Adults, £73.50 Young Adults, £49 Conc. Cat 2 - £76 Adults, £57 Young Adults, £38 Conc. Cat 3 - £64 Adults, £48 Young Adults, £32 Conc. Cat 4 - £52 Adults, £39 Young Adults, £26 Conc. Cat 5 - £36 Adults, £27 Young Adults, £18 Conc.
  15. Wigan at home. Tip, tap, tip, tap. Something will happen for us, we are above them in the league. Tip, tap, tip, tap.
  16. Middlesboro seem reluctant to either shoot or cross. Seems familiar.
  17. This thread is an interesting read - https://www.foxestalk.co.uk/topic/131799-king-power-in-or-out/
  18. Rubbish. We got pasted at their place. They just overpowered us and closed us down easily. It was in the middle of our 'suicide' phase admittedly. Go back and read the match thread reaction from the final whistle https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36343-v-luton-town-a-17922/page/16/
  19. Depends on whether you think Burnley and Sheffield United are outstandingly good compared to team that have come first and second in previous years. For the top two sides to be 21 and 11 points clear of 3rd is extremely rare, if has ever happened in recent times. When you think of the Newcastle, Fulham, Norwich teams that have got promoted in recent seasons and none have ever been as far clear as those two are this year.
  20. That's all your opinion. We have no idea or evidence if Broughton has authority, and we have been told we have had a strategy / direction / project for the last 5 years. It seems to be buy young, sell players for profit and hope to get lucky on the pitch through the academy. Broughton might be better at implementing it but again we do not know. GB is as unproven today as he was the day he walked in the door.
  21. I've never known before that when Luton won the league cup in the late 88, they were managed by Ray Harford. They reached the final under him the following year too.
  22. They had the second best away record in the league so I think they'll be OK. They'd beat Coventry. It depends on which Boro turn up. Boro had a purple patch mid season, but they can be a bit Jekyl and Hyde, and I wouldnt fancy Lenihan under that aerial bombardment.
  23. I imagine this would have been a far more 'interesting' pitch invasion at the end had Luton ended up playing Millwall and not Sunderland.
  24. Luton are a physical, powerful team who can also play a bit. Whereas we only have plan A and that is it, they can win games multiple ways. They are dispelling the myths that you have to pass the opposition to death or that you need to spend serious money to be successful in this league.
