  1. Surprised Judan Ali hasn't been spotted at Ewood yet 👀
  2. Yeah. But if you keep continually posting rumours that have no sources, and have a terrible track record of doing this in the past, of course you can expect to be called out. If they don't like being called out, stop posting them. It's a messageboard and peoples posts can be questioned.
  3. I'm glad people post this stuff if genuine. At least you've now clarified your source to some degree. perfectly fine with this. Made for more interesting reading this morning. It's annoying when people post rumours as fact, when they've actually got them from @bullshitboy1875 on twitter, in a bid just to look to be first with the news on the off chance it happens. However past experience tells me that even rumours from sources 'inside the club' invariably don't come off. Praying this one does.
  4. I'm with you although I seriously hope I'm wrong. I just feel that later tonight we will be told (whether true or not) there was a crisis meetings hence the rumours, but Mowbray is not going anywhere. Wouldn't surprise me if we had a 'vote of confidence' statement on the website this week.
  5. Mowbray and Waggot are key to the development plans of the training ground, and if that has been approved from above I don't see them rocking the boat by removing one of them. I fear the rumours last night and this morning are just people guessing. It seems like we are in the end-game, but when we lost to West Brom / Bolton in 2012 and the LT ran the "Time to Go Steve" headline it looked like Kean was as good as gone. Rumours persisted all week about his imminent departure and yet it was another 10 months before he left. (4 points in his next 2 games from Liverpool and Man United managed to quell the unrest and get the "Get behind him FFS" brigade back on side.) The journey continues .....
  6. Using the term "Revert back." The word back is not needed
  7. Well I'd probably accept that his best spell for us was mid-March to mid June last year.
  8. After almost another season, is everyone finally willing to accept that he is pretty poor? Or does he need another season / run of games to 'settle in''?
  9. MOWBRAY PLAYS STRIKER AT RIGHT BACK Oh wait. That actually happened didn't it. 🙄
  10. He hasn't even had one yet. Joshua wasn't world champion when they fought. He has always had a far more pressing case than some of the opponents AJ and Wilder have fought over the last 5 years.
  11. It'll be like Bowyer. Start next season slowly. When we are somewhere in the bottom half around November he'll leave one way or the other.
  12. Big Thom is player of the season for me unless he drops that inevitable huge clanger he obviously has in him.
  13. I wonder which poster will win the "What do you expect, it's Norwich" award after the game?
  14. Started well but unfortunately play with no strikers, score no goals.
  15. Long diagonal balls into DG and Dack playing off them. The good old days. 🙄
  16. I don't disagree. Contact was completely minimal (as it was on Speedie) But watch it at actual speed and his arm comes across and the guy goes down. At the time that's what I thought it hadn't been given for. I only noticed the knee clash on the replay. Its soft but I can see why he gave it. I can't understand how the ref or the lino doesn't give the Nyambe penalty.
  17. At actual speed I thought it was a penalty because Lenihan puts his arm out across his waist. Very similar to the Walsh / Speedie incident but he had no need to do it.
  18. And the stupidity of picking them there again, and again, and again, and again, and again. Will be the same next season. If we are going to play the fancy ,tippy-tippy football then you need the players to play it. We were better second half because Elliot and Rothwell are just far more suited to receiving the ball wide 40 yards from goal than those two. But I guarantee one of those will be back out there against Norwich. He's too stubborn to realise his philosophy isn't working with the team he has, but also too stubborn to admit he's been wrong for 2 seasons and to stop putting expensive flop-strikers out wide. As I said last night, the people still backing Mowbray obviously can't justify playing them wide so just ignore it happens.
  19. As for the game itself, season is over so we are in pre-season mode now almost. Results are pretty irrelevant providing we pick up a win every 3 or 4 games. I watched last night emotionally unconnected to the game. Of course I wanted us to win but the result is almost pointless. I wasn't gutted that we had fallen behind or were losing. That changed when the ref and lino failed to give the Nyambe penalty, at which point I switched back to normal, got really angry at the game and opposition and became desperate for an equaliser.
  20. It eclipses it because for 2 years we got absolutely nothing in return. Both have been shocking wastes of both money and squad positions. However if you were asked to keep one player from SG and BB, I suspect most people would pick BB now.
  21. As much as I've criticised Mowbray recently, Dack has been back for 3 months now. It's not like he has just returned from injury last week. I would suspect he should be able to play a full 90 minutes twice in a week at this stage. When Shearer returned and scored against Newcastle in 93 we didn't phase him back in over the next three months. He played practically every minute from that point onwards
  22. He basically said it wasn't confirmed but that's what the medical people are suspecting.
