  1. You’d be surprised how much time some people need when they’ve got quite a few jobs to complete and a strict deadline to hit. 😉
  2. I’ll be in Sheffield with work till 5pm Monday. That means I’ve got to get back, drop some colleagues off in Chorley, call in my mums, go home, grab something to eat then get to Ewood. Like most midweek games for me it’s a ball ache. I accept a number of midweek games each season but moving games from the weekend to Friday and Monday is just annoying. I get it’s not the clubs fault, but still I’ll probably end up missing a game Monday which I’ve paid for by a season ticket because they’ve moved it midweek.
  3. I’m judging JDT after the World Cup break, and Broughton after the January transfer window closes, like you advised us all to do. I like both of them as people on the surface, but JDT is now coming up short on the pitch and GB has spectacularly failed his first big test.
  4. I’ve just checked his career stats and noticed we did sign him for a full season and a half. Bloody hell. That one has slipped my mind completely.
  5. Ryan Porteous scores on debut for Watford to fire them them up to 5th.
  6. Rovers released a statement on it yesterday on their website. As much as I’m putting the boot into the club this week, it’s probably not their fault the BBC doesn’t quote them.
  7. So fantastic that Huddersfield have decided they don’t need him for a relegation fight. Good set piece delivery means nothing if you can take advantage of it, and Giles came with the same dead ball set piece reputation and I don’t recall much from him. All I’m saying is he’s not some great coup. He’s a cast off from one of our divisional rivals who may prove decent.
  8. People keep saying this yet Huddersfield fans are saying he’s been shite for them most of this season and generally aren’t bothered he’s left them despite being in a big relegation scrap. He obviously had something about him last season, but I hardly feel it’s some huge upgrade on the lads who have played out wide so far. I’m happy to see if he proves me wrong.
  9. If only Kaminsky hadn’t spilled that equaliser into the net last Saturday. 🙈
  10. Why do we need 300million in the short term?
  11. This shit happens because the previous protests were ignored, and you’ll not get anywhere near that size or attention of protest again as a large portion of the disgruntled have walked away.
  12. Those are the reasons we’ve leaked but there will be more too it I’m sure. Otherwise that would be absolutely shocking by the EFL. Plus Nixon talks shite and I’m disappointed the normally interesting front page articles are now the tubby tabloidman’s scribbling.
  13. Although basically saying “we don’t expect to win the appeal’ wasn’t very clever either. Came across to me as saying to the fans and the other parties “this is not going to happen” whilst making sure they can say “we’ve done all we can”.
  14. If you believe all the leaks we have, Rovers didn't realise that O Briens contract had to be agreed if he signed in the summer before registering the decision. This meant that legal advisors had to be brought in late in the day. This led to the deadline being missed. Now I don't believe anyone forgot to send off a document. I think the amount of stuff they had to sort was at a late stage was too much and they ended up submitting it late. Now if a major stumbling block came up that caused a chance of a massively important deadline being missed on a potentially multi-million pound deal, if I was the CEO I'd want to be hands on.
  15. Technically his problem is that Forest haven't included him in the 25 man squad. Forest knew on 1st Feb that the deal was doubtful, and yet they still chose to pursue Ayew and let him take the last place in their squad. He's partly not playing football because Forest didn't want him.
  16. Forest Forum saying O’Brien can still go abroad on loan. Hope he ends up somewhere decent.
  17. One positive for Forest is surely they’ll storm up that Premier League 2 Division 2 table now.
  18. As ever, it will be the manager who ends up having to deflect questions about this in his presser tomorrow.
  19. You've already missed him. He's throwing Sylvester under the bus and giving Waggot a free pass.
  20. Translation:-" We naively didn't realise it would be so complicated so ended up having to scramble to get lawyers in at the last minute to sort it out.
  21. So we are worse off than on 1st Feb last season but better off than where we finished. That certainly isn't the case with Arsenal, nor is it the reverse case with Liverpool. This potato isn't just mashed. His brain has been fried.
  22. Let's wait and see. Believe he was OK last night but looked nothing special. Huddersfield fans say he's bank our of form and happy to see him leave. Wing spaces currently occupied by Brereton and Hedges.
  23. Who's fault was it that the permanent contract (in the event of promotion) with the player wasn't initially agreed causing a delay that meant the paperwork couldn't be completed until so close to the deadline?
