This is a fair explanation tbf. The CL final was all very close quarters. This one was miles apart so the defender has "time and options" and "distance and space": Not that I really agree with that, but if those are the rules, I can understand how the penalty is given.
-
Unless the ball came off a defender, but then we had the whole Benzema CL final thing. Either way, weird they didn't even look at it.
-
Kane was offside there surely. 🤔 But VAR didn't even bother checking that. Nice to get one go for us.

See, he's too thick to realise it, but the story shows exactly why we were right about Kean. If a midfielder was running 50m high intensity a match he shouldn't have been anywhere near the team sheet. Didn't that twat waffle on about Opta match stats constantly? The minute you knew a player had "downed tools", you ditch them. You play absolutely anyone else there, even if it's a youth squad player. Those are the sort of tough decisions a manager is paid handsomely to make. It's the reason that tool is a multi millionaire. Because he was supposed to be dealing with all these things daily, and getting the best people out there come matchday. But he didn't...he couldn't....cos he was always a useless pudding. So take your sob story Bradley and shove it sideways up your backside! Clown.

DJ making a bit of a clown of himself these last few days. Needs to go to Saudi as it's "what's best for his family", and he felt "he was going to have to play golf forever, this way I won't have to." Must have been really struggling on those $75 million career earnings. 🤷♂️

Yeah, you said people that thought they knew so much about football should apply for managers jobs. I'm just pointing out to you that's clearly not the case. Or do you mean it was just another way to be rude and condescending "...to members of this forum." You're tying yourself in knots my friend. Tends to happen with folk that get too full of themselves.

Your point falls a bit flat considering none of them are managers, and I most definitely include Neville in that. Carragher, Alex Scott, Neville, Micah Richards, Redknapp, Clinton Morrison, Danny Gabbidon, Stephen Warnock. The regulars, not a manager to be seen. In fact the only one's I can see with any decent managerial credentials is Souness (last managed 16 years ago), and Roy Keane (last assistant managed 8 years ago barring a weird 4 month spell at Forest) It's almost like some people can still have opinions and insight into the game without officially being managers of a football club. 🤔🤔 Don't let a multi-billion pound industry, that you brought up, stamp all over your digs though. 😉

We must be the slowest acting club in the top 2 divisions this last decade. Whether it be player tranfers, hiring and firing managers, other staff changes. I don't even know if it's possible to measure such a thing, but surely guaranteed we'd be bottom of a list for speed and efficiency. Those things that make a business successful.

Sorry, can't be of much more help to you. Works for me on Samsung Galaxy. Think I maybe close the bottom page advert straight after I've refreshed. Don't know if that has an effect, just an automatic routine thing now. The big ones haven't been a bother since I started doing that. But I guess every appliance may differ.

So, two teams that have an average attendance of around 2,800, and the rumour is they're offering about triple in pay what we do. Absolute joke. Forget everyone being mad about Newcastle and their dirty oil money, this is surely a real issue too. Particularly for clubs at Champ level. Ridiculous that we can't compete financially with the miniscule UAE league.

You're in luck then, because that was the last Monaco race of the contract, and rumours are it may not be renewed. In terms of easily pleased, the race yesterday had a rain delay, all sorts of weather/tyre drama, a crashed car cut in half, the pole position (and season favourite) dropped to 4th position, and a win for a team's second driver.... only his 3rd F1 win in a decade of racing (in which time he's been made to give up 1st position on many occasions). I'd say as Monaco Grand Prix's go, that was all fairly entertaining. It's almost like some people are tough to please. 🤷♂️ Fully accept your point about the faster tracks with more overtaking spots though. P.S. Carlos Sainz's back end control on a damp, puddly track on the straight at about 100mph was a highlight. Get that slightly wrong and you're in a mangled wreck surrounded by barrier:

Very much this I think. But it gets even worse because he's getting promoted to the refs board of control I think. Some people claiming that's why the VAR bottled it. Didn't want to overule someone who will basically be his boss next season. Absolute shambles. To have not one, but two, penalty clangers not even pulled for review by VAR is inexcusable. Clattenburg raised concerns earlier in the week that are looking quite prohetic now: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10847013/amp/MARK-CLATTENBURG-Jon-Moss-appointment-Championship-play-final-odd-one.html

Wow, this was posted before his howlers too. If true, those are some crazy stats:
-
Statement on radio from EFL: "VAR didn't believe there was sufficient evidence to prove contact was made." 🤣🤣 His ankle clearly moves backwards from the force. What are they watching?
-
For anyone not seen it. And wtf is the commentator on about?! - "There's milimetre's in it isn't there" Errr no, no there isn't, unless we're talking about the size of John Moss's brain.
