  1. Bizarre and infuriating. He clearly wasn't supported in team objectives, while BB seems to have been foisted on him as an...investment(!), at the expense of solving glaring, long standing problems.
  2. My feelings exactly. There are many, who have felt at various moments that "other" fans didn't /wouldn't /couldn't be arsed to support protests. The most recent one I remember was the joint one at the Blackpool FA Cup game, when Rovers fans were outnumbered by 'pool fans. In the early Kean days, if you were not on social media/sites like BRFCS etc, the enormity just wasn't apparent from the old reliables like the LT. I think we also have to say early protesters were not successful at spreading their message across the fanbase. That was at least part of the equation. After all these years, we may forget. However, it is a quantum leap from normal, lifelong, passionate club loyalty to a psychological, emotional, rational position, where you are crystal clear that those running your club are wanting to do it harm. Note to self: any form of divide and rule-condescension, dismissal, keyboard hostility between supporters-is ultimately bad for our future.
  3. Big and ugly enough from memory. Anyone know if he is still fit enough etc?
  4. I am not defending it. Blackburn Rovers is not run like it used to be....
  5. I understand the German keeper thing was weeks before Raya's departure...
  6. So we can vent our spleens every week for that team selection at Birmingham..Never forget lol
  7. Defenders are...Oh wait
  8. Not sure about this. After the previous consultation meeting, (the defenders are coming one), I heard that Waggott himself was referring to a German keeper, who was on his way-actually imminent etc. My guess is that it was blocked from India, despite receiving £3,million for Reya
  9. "Mendacity is a system we live in. Liquor is one way out an' death's the other."
  10. Oh, Arbitro, Arbitro, how could you? You forgot three crucial things. They were badly advised. They've learned their lesson. Without them, we'd be doomed like Bury/Bolton...
  11. Be reasonable, mate. I know they did drive a bulldozer through our luxury home, but, at least, they have painted the garden shed!
  12. Nail on the head. When stats like these don't lead to a win, it should be a one off-just one of those days etc. But with Rovers , I think it is becoming a pattern. A pattern of shipping cheap goals and failing to score generally ends in one way!
  13. I have a dream - a post Venky's dream. We will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spritual: "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
  14. We're not gonna win promotion either, so.....
  15. Reading the article on her "career", I can't help remembering Ena Sharples..."Common!"
  16. " It was unusual for us to face so many long balls. I'd get slaughtered for that!" Quote from Colin's post match interview.
  17. Echoes of Dunn's midweek travels
  18. A perfect storm...
  19. ...and response to a good away following. Rovers fans usually rise to that...
  20. Inept etc...Look at the statistics from our games-number of shots on target etc
  21. If only. Bygones are bygones...
