  1. Yep. Actually, there has been more than a trace of that stuff in some home performances-second period, sitting back etc. It's just that the positive result is a happy distraction...
  2. So that's it then. Players' fault. Not brave enough..Couldn't handle the occasion.. Just wondering what the players' response will be to this. I bet the Whartons aren't best pleased either. Good questions from Mr Sharpe and others...
  3. Lol...Note the word Danish though!
  4. Exactly.. Others keep talking about 3rd in the table ermine, robes and jewellery, but all I can see is a fat belly, varicose veins and a wrinkled, Danish scrotum!
  5. All the world can see it.." in that way!"
  6. Yeah...We are too busy kicking ourselves. What a shit-show away performance...again! It could have been 5/6...
  7. Respect. So impressed.. What a great post! Now, it begins to make sense why you chose this site lol... In terms of endurance, tonight I am living in Gethsemane Gardens in Blackburn! Hope today went well....
  8. I know what you mean, but we can't just erase from our memories some of his howling errors, which were sickening at times...e.g. from behind the Rovers goal at Griffin Park! I guess young players do make mistakes and the question is about how long we nurture them until we can sell for bigger bucks. Mind you, some of the clowns that followed were a lot worse. Then came TK and the rest is history!
  9. Teams do get results, even on an off day, if they pass the ball forward occasionally. On reflection, that was just shit. The emperor JDT's new clothes etc
  10. Leave some vinegar for my sponge after the Turf Moor fixture!
  11. Yeah. And in reality, most of the winning performances have been less than overwhelming.
  12. 8 minutes is inexcusable from the manager-especially after so little urgency or intent. Complete no-show...
  13. He did look absolutely knackered at the end of the game and I worry about the lack of recovery time. Not sure who/how we play without him though. Nevertheless, his absence will be the consequence, should his tiredness lead to injury. Who'd be a manager?
  14. Actually, I always remember singing it with irony-when we were deep in relegation trouble and somehow went ahead in a game...
  15. Lol...Apparently, they are bitter about Rovers landing Markanday?
  16. Yeah. The way it turned out, Garrett would have been a much better fit. Maybe, JDT thought they could get Dack on the ball a bit? I did smile at the idea of JDT being Godlike in testing Dack, as if he was Adam or Job?
  17. Re Hull kid, I know the feeling!
  18. I didn't watch, but my Hull supporting mate just rang to say Rovers were good. I listened to the last 25 minutes and I do worry about the way we keep sitting back, seeming to find it impossible to take care of the ball and get up the pitch.
