  1. I think the mood here and in our house is reminiscent of 12 months ago....Then a win against Barnsley "lanced the boil". Given the expectations, I sense huge disappointment and frustration about the last two games, which takes our number of defeats to 7 already. I listened to Rory Smith on 5 live, who was referring to "attractive football", as a defence from supporter pressure, when results are significantly below expectations. That felt relevant to Rovers. I have really enjoyed some of our performances, but the amount of goals we still concede is such a problem. God knows how bad it would have been, if we hadn't signed TK. I will be honest. Armstrong's decision making also frustrates me. It's almost as if his fabulous scoring record gives him immunity from being called out as a greedy **** lol... I refrained from posting after Saturday. I really did not know what to think and remain reasonable. I do think we ought to make the play-offs, but I can't help being conscious of the re-emerging pattern of being unable to break a glass ceiling, even with the best on field riches, since the ones, squandered by Bowyer..
  2. Well done. I really like your approach, where you just say enough to prompt him to talk. A real skill, imo... Obviously, JS is a bright, reflective guy with a bit about him...
  3. It worked didn't it? lol...Neither Derrick nor Darragh came out of that game with much credit!
  4. I was standing next to you. Do you remember how we mimed their keeper clawing at the air, as Hendry's header hit the net?
  5. I think it would have been a dereliction, merely to accept it...
  6. In your opinion, maybe....but I think there was enough to challenge the award of a straight red...double jeopardy etc
  7. Bastards!...... But man, proud man, Drest in a little brief authority, Most ignorant of what he’s most assur’d; His glassy essence, like an angry ape, Plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven, As make the angels weep.
  8. Talking of horrific runs..Dalglish's 6 match losing streak takes some beating....just saying lol
  9. Does that mean one of my 7 so called free games via season ticket is audio only? Surely not!!!
  10. Sorry, it may not be much use in Sweden, but this from Lancs Live... The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage scheduled to start at 7:00pm. Alternatively, you can purchase a match pass from iFollow for £10. On iFollow commentary duty for Rovers will be Neil Yardley and Warren Lucy. You can also listen to live coverage of the game on BBC Radio Lancashire.
  11. One of the free away match passes for season ticket holders...so it must be on i follow, you would think...but what do I know ...
  12. I think TM's message was for when it all goes tits up....."Its not me, Guv.."
  13. I have this recurring picture. Blue and white halves, blue shorts, snow on pitch, orange ball...Turf Moor...Stuart Metcalfe spraying the ball imperiously...Waggy rounding the keeper, counting to a hundred (Bastard, just put it in!) before putting the ball into the empty net....So always blue shorts for me!
  14. I'm with Mick McCarthy..."Twatter"...
  15. I get the sense that our own Mr Biro is more Costello than Presley...
  16. Very pleased with TK. And not before time. I think it has been a bit of a disgrace to have gone so long without a proper, reliable keeper. We seem to have had a succession, who were prone to soul-destroying errors...and this more or less coincides with the arrival of.......Never mind that. TK looks the real deal.
  17. ...and stick his hedgefund where it hurts...
