  1. Zeefuik will not be any loss provided JRC stays fit (unlikely admittedly). Zeefuik is a liabilty who crashes into needless challenges and makes kamikaze runs forward with no positional sense. Its a shame for him that he probably won't now have an extended run to show that he can do better.
  2. And then a multimillionaire stepped in and bankrolled their ascent to the Premier League. Fan-owned clubs have no source of finance so Rovers would soon be in League 2. Would that be batter??
  3. They didn't spend £16m on the training ground. It's just an accounting exercise that won't even work unless the EFL accept that 20 acres of land without planning permission is worth that much.
  4. Kaminski lacks bottle. Should have got there first and cleaned out Wilson. Kaminski like Pickering has been grossly over-rated. Is there a slower full back in this league? Up front its schoolboy stuff. Dolan and Khadra just want to show off their playground tricks. Just can't see where the goals are coming from even when Dias returns.
  5. Diaz has more ability in all aspects than Gallagher. He's the current equivalent of John Omara who left on a free after two didmal seasons to play for Chelmsford. Like Gallaghet he had a first touch that went for a throw in.
  6. I doubt anyone will take a risk on Dack this summer. Of greater concern is that the close season looks like being chaos as Waggott would follow Mowbray out of the door so that by the end of June there will be no manager and no CEO to appoint one although in reality that probably falls to the Global Adviser Suhail Pasha. Looks like a shambolic close season and a trolley dash for the leftovers in August.
  7. I agree that for this toothless team to get into the playoffs would simply prolong the inevitable.
  8. Gallagher is a so-called striker who doesn't have the bottle to take a penalty. Amateurish to give the responsibility to a kid. Mowbray is a born loser who can't help himself.
  9. Gallagher was overpriced and a total waste of £5m. His contribution against WBA was utterly dismal as he continually lost possession. No aerial presence no awareness no bottle.
  10. I would expect 77 points to be enough for a playoff place this season. So 6 or 7 wins and a few draws. It's more difficult than it sounds particularly if the goals dry up as they have done since Xmas. I suspect that of the current top 9, Rovers, Hudds and WBA will be the ones to miss out.
  11. Arma used to be repeatedly offside in his first couple of seasons but eventually learnt to time his runs.
  12. Er, didn't quite pan out that way with Nyambe did it? He was far better than Lenihan would have been with all his reckless challenges and needless yellow cards.
  13. Looks like Wharton had been watching Derek Williams heading technique.
  14. Gallagher has conceded possession every single time. Its like playing with 10. Also JRC is way out of depth at this level. Utterly clueless. Get Dolan on.
  15. He didn't want to come here. Can't do anything about that. Maja might have been a different story....
  16. Rovers are a mid-table team which had a purple patch - against some of the weakest teams such as Pboro/Brum- and is now "reverting to the mean". Time is up for Mowbray.
  17. He's a headless chicken. Poor ball control and lacks composure. Probably even worse than JRC at wing back - and that's not saying much. On his showings so far - and I doubt he'll improve - there's no way he should be signed to replace Nyambe.
  18. Really? A very low bar as Wharton looked League 1 standard this evening
  19. Ayala has to be better then Lenihan on recent form. Just needs to avoid injury (again).
  20. No way that there will be any interest in Lenihan from the PL this summer.
  21. Buckley looks like he's in Dreamland at times. Lacks awareness and is always back on his heels when a chance presents itself. No chance of PL clubs being interested in him until he shows more conviction.
  22. Forests performance levels against Cardiff and Leicester were poles apart. Depends which team turns up. Cardiff pressed really hard and just managed to stifle the Brennan/Spencer combination that wrecked Leicester.
