  1. I heard it at Carlisle this season with one or two others that made me laugh but never heard since
  2. I still remember ben, drunk, singing with Sheffield Wednesday fans to sign him up while contracted to us. I also remember a very talented player downing tools and then telling me to go away in a less than polite manner when I asked why. Wrong attitude and not the kind of signing we need
  3. Ossie ardiles ? Never saw him play bit the way the BBC bang on about him I assume he was decent Nuno Gomes. ? Robbie Fowler ? Cole.and Yorke, treble winners
  4. I thought that would have caught on. If it's any consolation my four year old sings it in the car going to school
  5. Can we keep the chadometer
  6. I can't work out if the boards are better with or without chaddy. He certainly adds to and creates debate and yet at the same time manages to detracts the whole thread for large periods. He introduces me to players and managers I've never heard of and interesting information regarding lots of other teams and I usually agree with him on everything non rovers related yet it has been easier reading people's posts without all the bickering and multi quoting yet I strangley miss the guy.... And mark45 . Come home boys
  7. He reminds me of when tom Lawrence was here in the way that you could see he had the talent and ability but still had a niavety and rawness to his game. I suppose you get what you pay for....in most cases
  8. Ben woodburn would be a good addition. He is a winger/inverted forward but can beat a man and get a ball in. He is exactly the type of loan we should be aiming for. Mentioned him in the summer thread before he went to Sheffield united. Don't know what happened there. He does strike me as the kind of player mowbray wouldnt be starting or in a hurry to use ala Palmer/chapman. Scored on his Wales debut.
  9. Is that really true ?
  10. Nail head. I don't get this Evans love in. Sometimes awful, mostly anonymous.
  11. Brownhill would be a great signing, although I can't imagine a cheap one. He's been one if not the best player all season. Whilst it would undoubtedly be an upgrade it's another cm and another obstacle for Travis. whilst other areas are desperately light I cant see this coming off
  12. Probably just swatting up on the German transfer market before he comes back ??
  13. Tbf when he first came it was true although he did improve the longer he was here in that regard
  14. Said exactly the same thing as I walked down what seemed like a million flights of stairs.
  15. Probably get arrested for saying fat these days that's before your slander case for calling him a waiter
  16. Playing in Gillingham first team, getting young player of the season and scoring two goals
  17. Good post and I agree. The sad thing is I don't think any of the clubs have been embarrassed. One time fans would be embarrassed as would the players and manager. Now you hear fans saying the league is what matters echoing the managers, and players no one has ever heard of playing in the first teams. Accy stanley where favourites with the bookies to beat Ipswich. The most galling thing of all is, come may, it will be city/Liverpool/Chelsea in the final after playing second string teams til the last 4 such is the wealth and gulf in class. "Shocks" all round this weekend as teams fight to cling to the premier league gravy train instead of trying to win something. The whole point of football is to win trophies. To bring the cup home to the people and fans of that town and share pride in your achievements. If money is the only thing that matters, even at the expense of attempting to win silverware then I'm really struggling to see what the point is. The premier league is guaranteed to an elite side and if the cups mean nothing because no one is taking them serious then why do we get so worked up over watching businesses operating.
  18. He's got premier league interest and with him refusing to sign a new contract he's expected to leave for a fee of around 8 million according to sky sports .
  19. If the ref, linesman and var all see the cairney melt down as a penalty the games is finished
  20. Is it me or has there been more cup shocks/exits this year than before. Has the competition been devalued so much that teams aren't even trying. Quite a bold claim I know but when you look at Huddersfield, Cardiff Fulham all involved in a relegation battle out. Leeds, Sheffield united looking for promotion out. As well as a few others i.e Leicester and Newcastle ? the way rafa spoke about a reply like an irritation and how general attitude to the cup, sure other managers are the same and it reflects in the scores With not much to play for this season and teams not taking it seriously/dropping like flies maybe, just maybe if we take it seriously and have Abit of luck along the way we could get a day at wembley. It's a sad state of affairs that the prestige of this wonderful cup has been diminshed and the soul sold to the highest bidder but we should be ready to capitalize
  21. His initial loan period he was good otherwise he wouldn't have signed permanent. When duff left he wasn't the same player
  22. I didn't go to the Rochdale game you are referring to but I went to a game and thought the exact same thing. He really did look a talent and the best of the players you mentioned
  23. How are the ball numbers decided. Probably the most boring question I've ever asked anyone in my life ?
  24. Why. With ten minutes to go and unable to win a header the least he could attempt to do is Harrass and close defenders down and be in the right position when we are in possession. All he needed to do was close defenders down and show some energy and no one says anything negative about him
  25. I thought gresko was a good left back.....until duff left
