Just watched arsenal and now Chelsea in the Europa league. Arsenal have a few good kids on the books but are still Abit raw There is a lad at Chelsea who has been superb and doesn't look out of place in a very strong Chelsea team. Arguably been the best player . His name is Hudson odoi. English, 18, playing on the left. He's skinning his man for fun and whipping balls in as well as cutting inside. Played some very clever passes and hit the bar with a shot from outside the box. This kid is going to be class. He's not signed a new deal and wants first team football. However if your going to lambast the squad to supporters like that then you have to be 1000% sure that you did everything right to win that game and the players let you down otherwise it becomes Mourinho esque and the cracks will appear....or have appeared. Travis is right footed. Playing him at left back is an accident waiting to happen. Bell or Williams might not be the answer but Travis is certainly not

I wouldn't be against signing him and loaning him out as long as it doesn't have any effect whatsoever on his recruitment or budget and still addresses the width issue. We all know Chapman is a good player who could do a job in the first team now and has potential to be a great player. Signing him relatively cheap when he has had injury issues and I assume not long left on his contract is a small gamble with potential massive reward. Get him fit and get him playing here or somewhere else to build up his fitness and confidence and we would have a good player assuming his injury problems can be dealt with or contained. This is ONLY a good idea if he addresses the width NOW also and doesn't keep building for the future why we enter a state of slow decline

I'm starting to think even if you swapped rothwell for Armstrong or Travis for bell or whatever people suggest it would be the same outcome. The players deserve slating tonight because they had no heart or desire but the buck stops with mowbray for me. You can change that line up all you like we aren't going to beat anybody convincingly. We need proper width as a matter of urgency. No he won't. Williams has played for villa , Bristol city and us in the championship and spent most if his career their. Bell has played for Fleetwood as season for us and he will be back in league one next season
