I quite liked the first two Oasis albums, but anyone who thinks NG is a top songwriter needs to give their head a wobble. He's not even the best from that period (Albarn and Ashcroft are both better IMHO and neither of them are as good as Weller). I'm sure they'll fill Heaton park and Wembley though.

People were probably saying the same about playing Ipswich early last season. The truth is, none of us have any idea where Derby and Oxford might end up this season. The latter in particular looked a decent side. Nobody can hand on heart look at the 43 remaining fixtures and confidently predict which will be 'easy' or 'difficult'. Not in this league. That team that beat Burnley at the weekend. We smashed 5 past them 4 months ago at their place. FIVE. I'm confident we can do these sister fiddling, banjo playing, toothless six fingered wastrels on Saturday.

The beauty about it mate is that you can’t get stuffed by a late goal screwing your coupon up. Once three goals have been scored you can tick that game off. It doesn’t always win obviously but unless you get a 0-0 draw involved there’s usually interest right to the final whistle. The Blackpool game yesterday was 0-0 after about 75 mins but still came in. Anyway I’m derailing the thread a bit here. Was delighted with the point yesterday and if we can get and keep players fit I think we’ll have a decent season.

I always pick four Lancashire teams’ games and go for over 2.5 goals in each. I made several hundred quid last season and got off to a flyer yesterday as well. Its not always the same four teams, depends who kicks off at 3pm on the Saturday.

I don’t read every single post on here mate but I do know that he’s an older guy who hasn’t been in the greatest of health lately but is in the top 5 posters on this site when it comes to football knowledge. He has certainly noted Buckley’s failings at times too but there definitely is a player in there somewhere. It just looked like a cheap shot.
