National league and North and South

Same thing with that Bury owner. He was involved in something like 22 companies that went bust, and left investors out of pocket. -

I don't watch the tedious hyperbole machine as I don't have Sky, but the rest of my family do. I find football pretty boring nowadays as it is all played in an almost homogeneous style, with variations of Liverpool or Man City's methods, pointless nonsensical stats and players being pansies. And then you get the idiotic commentators trying to manufacture talking points to fill the time, or treating an argument between a player and manager like old grannies discussing an EastEnders plot line. It's all a bit pathetic really. -

So he's gone from Iniesta to Andrews then. -

Sammy to the rescue again. If we had a decent goalie on the pitch we'd probably be winning. -

I'm not at the match, but if Pears is having another Plymouth disaster why is he in the team? Why bother spending money on the new guy? And how annoyed must he be to barely make a game after moving? -

It's a win, thankfully. Sounds like a very nervous game again. -

Jamal Leschelles of Newcastle is said to be joining Al Shabab. A football team, not the Somali terrorist group. I wonder which asinine pop act will be hired for the cup final entertainment? I would suggest Mayhem or Infant Annihilator for a laugh. -

That Man Utd kit is shocking. -
I do wonder if Burnley might do an Everton and just about survive as there are 3 worse teams. Luton are an obvious team to go down but there is Everton, Sheffield United and Wolves who may be in the mix.

Glad I didn't go. Pears is very much a 2nd choice keeper you can't rely on over a season. Drop him ASAP. -

If you're making a weekend of it, Exmouth is quite nice to visit. A bit of a way as it's the other side of the he south coast but you might meet Chris Brown and Dickson Etuhu at Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. -

I'll be honest and say I can't wait to see him in action, as I am curious about any unknown signing. I'd much rather sign a young striker who is left field than some dobber who has been to 15 clubs and never really done anything e.g. Zahora, Carroll. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

If he does a Clough, and we win the league after getting promoted, then he'll be the best ever manager. Or even if he got us a Champions league place within 3 seasons of promotion. Right now he is just a really refreshing, and promising change from Tony Moribund and losers like Coyle and K**n. -

Just read the result on my break. Effing hell! Was the new goalie any good? -
I'd need to check to see if I'm right, but I believe Queen Victoria was still alive the last time Preston win a league title or cup. Unless they won the Anglo-Italian Cup, Texaco Trophy or that one the lower two league divisions play.

I would guess Dubois will end up being at the Chisora/White level. Not good enough to win the belts but constantly facing up and comers who have a genuine chance as a final step on that road. Unlike Fury he is willing to fight proper fighters, and is not interested in reality shows or exhibition matches against YouTubers.

It's all about the sports washing, and the Arab elite are worse than that Spanish FA guy who is in trouble. -

It's amazing how these things can quickly spiral out of control. So many known clubs can decline and die so rapidly, like Rushden and Diamonds, Bury, Scarborough and now potentially Southend. The top cabal have driven up prices, wages and so on so much with the collusion of the FA, agents, players, FIFA and UEFA that so many clubs lower down are either going bankrupt to pay players, or being sold off to any crook or incompetent fool with no supervision. -
I get the impression that being one of those 8 workers will be a horrible job. The Saudis treat workers like slaves anyway, so imagine adding a right diva as your boss to the mix....... It's always the rich and famous who get the free stuff and perks, whilst we are call feckless scroungers for wanting a pay rise.

The Saudis also seem to move into Boxing, as the likes of Anthony Joshua have had rights there. It's all a move to make the country look more like a glamorous tourist place like the UAE instead of a repressive terrorist breeding craphole with infinite money. Whether it will work, along with mad projects like that long, straight city they're building is another matter. It depends how many rape victims they behead or people they kill in their embassies. -

I did see a kid in a Ronaldo shirt near B&M in Coventry today. -
Alistair Campbell is a Burnley fan, so that's enough reason to dislike them.
