  1. The Taylor Swift Hive Mind will be unhappy at the moment, Kansas are losing 10-3 as I type. She'll probably break up with him next week if he loses, and all the 14 year old girls, flamboyant gays and crazy cat ladies who listen to her songs will be sending death threats to that player.
  2. What was the response to those with the banners from other fans?
  3. Fancy passing out the back is great if you have defenders and a goalie like Liverpool or Man City do, but we don't have players half as good. Keep it basic and solid, and get the midfield and forwards to do the fancy stuff.
  4. The only downside is that people will be looking away from the elephant in the room. Still happy so far though.
  5. Good start. One bit of positive news after the drama.
  6. I suppose I call them the Venkys as I probably see it as a sign of disrespect at a subconscious level to get their name wrong on purpose. It's like calling someone Tim when their name is Tom, and being dismissive when they correct you.
  7. The BBC has us as a 4-4-2 with JRC as left winger, Hedges in the middle and Dolan in the right. Probably wrong, but we will see when the game starts. I expect loads of frustration and cursing during the match on this thread.
  8. The delegation are probably going to Castle Greyskull to be told to reduce the budget by 50%, no more transfers with any fees and so on. They should be urging the Raos to eff off and sell the club but that would mean they'd be replaced by competent people.
  9. I've noticed a few channels on my YouTube page have been covering the McGuire debacle and saying we're a club in crisis. They're not the largest channels, but a few have 6 figure subscriber figures, and are about the wider football scene and not just Rovers.
  10. Thanks for the clarification on the procedures. We all know the league would not step in, and simply issue the relevant points deductions so no hope there. Look how they handled Bury, who got taken over by a man who led something like 20 companies into insolvency prior to the crisis at the club. He was 'fit and proper'. It's no coincidence that Steve Waggott is around when clubs are really in crisis mode. It was the same at Coventry City and Charlton. He's like that Bassini guy-one of the four footballing horse men.
  11. What I wonder is what the Raos will do if they need to go to court again, or the heat is turned up in India over dodgy money and they did something illegal. We all hope that they'd do the decent thing and finally sell the club, but can't they just say stuff it, not bother trying to send money and let the club fold completely? Would we be in a more terminal situation than administration?
  12. The club is losing money, they know we hate them and they have to go to court to transfer running costs. Maybe they'll cut their losses and let the club wither to nearly nothing out of spite. I'm not sure they will ever sell the club to another, in case the new owner rebuilds and makes us the next fairytale as it will really show them up. I am just mentally preparing myself for a future match against my home town team (Barnet).
  13. Eustace will be messed around and lied to like everyone else since 2010, so he won't see out his contract or stay longer. He's here to manage the decline to League 1 and the final winding down of the club.
  14. I hope Eustace has some idea of what he is accepting here.
  15. With the way things are going I expect Wayne Rooney with Steve Kean as assistant. I'm honestly too fed up with the shit show to really care. The club is dying and a large enough section of the fans are too blind to see.
  16. If the Raos are so concerned, why not sell the club or fund it properly? Oh yeah, it's because they're a family of village idiots born into wealth. Just eff of you clowns.
  17. If they don't go for an internal candidate, I dread to think which desperado will come in. Is Joe Kinnear still alive?
  18. The last few months have been terrible on the pitch, but JDT was never given a chance to avoid some sort of collapse. He's been stabbed in the back over players and budgets repeatedly. I would not blame him if he resigned.
  19. We will probably challenge for the play offs next season. In League 1.
  20. Time to put in Port Vale and Exeter's grounds into the coach Sat Nav. Shit owners, shit manager, shit players.
  21. Tony Mowbray death spiral, but he's gone.
  22. That man is a cabbage. The sort of person who would believe a minister saying everything is great, when their employer goes bust and they can't find another job in his area.
  23. I think we're trying to reconstruct some sort of hybrid Coventry City team. Hyam, McFadzean, Fleck all played for them. Next we will get Strachan as manager should JDT resign, and sign Cyrus Christie, Jordan Shipley and Tyler Walker.
  24. I'm half expecting Luca Toni to come out of retirement to sign.
  25. Looking at the rumours of the last minute panic buys, we're going after L1 and L2 players in preparation for our next 'natural level'. All part of the plan to run the club at the minimum level.
