  1. It probably depends on how much chaos there is in the Leeds boardroom and playing squad. If he senses that there's an almighty financial mess post relegation, JDT might stay.
  2. One of the papers is saying Harry Kane will not move to Man Utd because Levy will block it. If that's the case Harry must be sick of that twerp. Levy knows he is not a temperamental, unprofessional type to throw his toys out the pram and has been taking advantage of it for years. Kane may have been looking at the prospect of a treble this season if he was allowed to go to City when they offered a fortune. All the talk of 'He does not need trophies, goal scoring records are his trophies' is absolute crap. Those are temporary, a winner's medal is forever. If he doesn't move this season, then if he doesn't go on a Bosman he is a mug.
  3. Leeds vs. Millwall next season. Good luck to the police at those games.
  4. All those who are criticising Martin are just obsessed about results and don't look at the important stats like xG and how many completed passes are made in the final third😉. Only joking, I can see Southampton struggling to threaten the play offs next season as things stand.
  5. Went to Bridlington to see Pulp. It was absolutely fantastic, Jarvis and co. were as good as they've ever been, and the Spa was a brilliant venue.
  6. I wonder if Nathan Jones will be approached by Leicester or Leeds. Sure, he was pants at Southampton, but he turned Luton into a tough, difficult to beat unit. Leeds would especially love the shithousing he would install up there.
  7. I'm not sure they have the minerals to battle against the top teams and overcome adversity. They've been there during the decline to relegation and have more or less given up this season. The defence has been shocking, but have they really tried when they left se the ball? Maybe they need great players, real leaders to get them to that level, but as of now they are championship players despite all the hype. They're the opposite of the Crazy Gang era of Wimbledon.
  8. As for Leeds.........hahahaha!!!! Spent the weekend in Bridlington so it's probably best I'm back home now. Saw some angry fans kicking the seats in front of them and booing on Final Score.
  9. Leicester are going to have a fire sale, but which top teams would want rubber dinghy men like Maddison, Tielamans or Barnes? That squad had some quality but still went down. And how many times are Everton going to escape on the last day? There are deep, fundamental issues there with the massive spending but putting their fans through this so often.
  10. Time to see who will be replaced by a group of sister fisters, Sean Bean and a town no-one has any idea which county they are in.
  11. I was watching it in Bridlington and was disappointed on behalf of the people I know who went. I'd hate to be there after we lost to a penalty shootout. The Euros were awful. It's good to see another unfashionable team promoted though, and one that is not secretly backed by Russian oligarchs like Bournemouth.
  12. Dear God I hope that's true. Leicester's defence became a joke with almost every corner leading to a chance for the opposing team, and his tactics being found out. He initially did really well there, but things really went to poo.
  13. Glad to see Slot is staying put, and not ruining his career by going to Spuds. Just need PSV to get someone else in.
  14. That kit Miller 11 showed is awful. It's worse than the Inter Milan kit that had fuzzy stripes. The wrong shade of blue as well.
  15. There are so many sponsors, it took me a second to see the funny one. It's like a website from 2007 with all the pop up adverts.
  16. Living in Coventry, I know it'll be a great boost for the city if they go up. Especially after the long period of mismanagement they've had (the move to Northampton was a particularly ill received move). But then, I grew up in Bedfordshire, so seeing Luton with that crappy stadium in the Premier League is an amusing thought. The mental image of Man City arriving in that dystopian craphole of a town, to play in Kenilworth Road is great.
  17. Players move around a fair bit, so imagine player X, Y and Z all played for Southampton for a few seasons. but are now at 3 different clubs. All 3 could theoretically collude to get booked/sent off on the same day, or rig a combined number of attempted shots in their games to be below or above a certain level. Then they talk to some bookie in Singapore, India or any country where gambling is illegal......
  18. I'm not sure they have a stadium for next season either. The agreement with that tosser Mike Ashley was to finish this season there, and therefore they need to negotiate with him again. That will be fun.
  19. Well that was weird. Almost as weird as sacking Mowbray after doing a good job with Sunderland. If only he was as passionate and inspired when he was here, but never mind. If they want another ex manager I'm sure Owen Coyle is available.
  20. Depends on if the owners can be bothered or not. Back JDT, get a couple of good strikers and a hard bastard midfielder in we could go up. Cut funding to the bone where we can only loan some crap teenager from Liverpool and a 35 year old freebie last seen on Blackpool beach, then a relegation scare.
  21. I don't remember where I read it, but a Chelsea fan posted they're thankful Potter saved them from relegation. I hope JDT stays as I can see Lampard getting a big contract here if he goes.
  22. I am not an attendee of live matches sadly, but speaking as a season ticket holder of Coventry Rugby Club for the past few years, I'd be annoyed if they moved a lot of games to weird times like 6pm on a Thursday, as I'll be at work then. There's the odd game at home at 7.45pm, but it is literally once or twice. If I was a season ticket holder at Ewood Park, and about 10 games were on unusual times like Mid day on Sunday followed by a mid week evening game. I'd be a bit miffed.
  23. I'll miss it all because I will be at work. Bum. My prediction is that we'll be in 6th place at some time in the first half for 5 minutes, and then it will just fade away.
  24. Lampard has been like an FM player who takes over a club they dislike just to ruin them. In fact, it seems the new owners are like that too, in that they are like if you went into the data editor and gave them the worst judgement and loads of money. I haven't played football manager since about 2011, so the references are probably a bit out dated.
