I'm in my early 40s and have never put a record on. It was tapes and CDs when I started buying music.

I'd scrap the county game too. It's produced too much mediocrity, and is usually played in front of a few blazers. Perhaps a city based team that really tries to engage with local schools instead of relying on a few private schools is the way forward. But the Hundred being binned is a start.

Delia Smith did it better.

Southgate has all those fancy players, but is too cautious and picks a few favourite players regardless of form and whether they actually play.

Venky’s, HMRC…The Plot Thickens ?

Jim Radcliffe can save himself a load of money and buy us instead of a minority of Man Utd. We don't expect Champions League football every season, or have an over paid team under performing, great academy...... With INEOS money we could be like Brighton or Brentford. It makes sense in some ways. Mind you if the Rao's did sell, we'd end up with some crypto bro and that Bassini in charge. -

I hope you sent him for a long weight and tartan paint after that. -

Pears can have a month or so of being good, then a month of being awful, then a period of mediocrity. Not 1st team quality. I wish we could sign Sigurdsson full time too, but it won't happen. -

With hindsight his form after the world cup was pretty crap but we were not to know that until the end of season. Either way, if he left for let's say £10m none of that would be used for a replacement.

I agree, I've disliked them since the Worthington Cup win. Empty vessels make the most noise. -

We're effed. We'll probably end up around 15th, with JDT and several players leaving in summer, and then relegated next season. Whoever the current Danny Guthrie, Chris and Wes Browns are, will be the spine of our team next season. I hope Venkys lose all their money and assets and have to sell up, and live on the streets in Pune. I didn't go to the match, so the result is not my fault. -

Funny how Ten Haag looked promising at one point, and is now failing like every manager since Ferguson. It's going to be a very long time before they challenge for the title. -
I'm not big on golf, so what happened with one of the caddies?

I could go to this game, but I'm not sure I should. I've never seen us beat Coventry, and that includes the infamous 5-0 loss at Highfield Road, and the game with the 96th minute equaliser when Mowbray was manager. -

Why did we bother buying a goalie if Pears is in regardless of how bad he plays? -

Same thing with that Bury owner. He was involved in something like 22 companies that went bust, and left investors out of pocket. -

I don't watch the tedious hyperbole machine as I don't have Sky, but the rest of my family do. I find football pretty boring nowadays as it is all played in an almost homogeneous style, with variations of Liverpool or Man City's methods, pointless nonsensical stats and players being pansies. And then you get the idiotic commentators trying to manufacture talking points to fill the time, or treating an argument between a player and manager like old grannies discussing an EastEnders plot line. It's all a bit pathetic really. -

Sammy to the rescue again. If we had a decent goalie on the pitch we'd probably be winning. -

I'm not at the match, but if Pears is having another Plymouth disaster why is he in the team? Why bother spending money on the new guy? And how annoyed must he be to barely make a game after moving?
