  1. Anyone know if the midweek Championship games are available on Sky Go/Sky Sports App? Are saturday games available on Ifollow to UK customers or are the match passes still just for overseas, I've lost track/interest!?
  2. I'm worried about the clamour to bring Chapman in like he is going to be the answer to all our prayers, who is a talented but raw/defensively naive player who couldn't win a starting place under Mowbray in League 1 he's since had 2 serious injuries and played little football. As a backup/development player I think he could be great but the lad has a lot of learning to do.
  3. Well, time will tell, however clubs have had all summer to bring players in, if there is no difference between LTB and permanent then why have we fanny'd around to such an extent?
  4. That is sometimes the case, however of all the players we've had on loan in the last 10 years, how many have been a genuine success?
  5. Well the main difference is that you're not going to a club with a wedge of cash that they get fairly quickly.
  6. I really think people are putting far too much faith in the loan window, the loan with a view deals are far too reliant on all the pieces falling into place. For us to get Maddison requires Peterborough to be able to get an adequate replacement, on loan, with a view to buy and the team they're buying from to be able to replace, etc, etc. I just don't see it happening how people seem to have convinced themselves it will. I think it will be unwanted premier league players being punted out as it is every year.
  7. Mate I go and watch Celtic all the time, he plays regularly and loves being at Celtic. He's started 52 of a possible 68 league games, so the idea he doesn't play is shite
  8. A successful day today could put 1500 or more on the crowd this weekend, hell it could even put another 500 on season tickets. A poor day today will erode some of the goodwill and joy from last season, loans serve a purpose but permanent signings who we can count as our own are what brings people back to Ewood.
  9. He plays most games at Celtic and loves it up there, not a hope in hell.
  10. Hopefully not, he is absolutely toilet, as well as being a one of them.
  11. Leeds were punished because the rules at the time were 3 ml losses and a maximum of 3m owner investment, those rules no longer apply. It's now over an accumulated 3 year period and the shareholder investment limit has changed significantly
  12. They're new owner could have just pumped loads of money in through the various workarounds within the FFP regulations, they're fairly easy to circumvent providing owners are happy to gift the club money.
  13. It's absolutely crazy that McGinn will be available for 3 million when you've got Grealish going for 30 odd, absolutely mental
  14. a few people suggested she gets paid for it and or is with him for monetary gain, if someone said that about my daughter I would rip their head off.
  15. Jesus Christ, give the girl a break. Who knows what she's like? Having her character assassinated and reasons for being with her fella by a bunch of internet nobodies because of how she looks, pretty poor fellas, pretty poor.
  16. I don't see Travis being put out on loan, Mowbray has really talked him up and he can play in a number of positions. Tomlinson I agree will depart on loan, Whittingham, who knows. He's not going to get anywhere near the first team, he also didnt exactly shower himself in glory last season so you wonder how many league 1 clubs would want him on his no doubt hefty wages.
  17. I think he was facetiously meaning Admiral Nelsen
  18. Fair play to Hart, he could go to a club where he is guaranteed games and a big salary. The fact he is going to somewhere were there is loads of competition and a lesser salary level shows he is still keen to test himself IMO.
  19. Yep, 'plucky little Bournemouth' and thier Russian billionaire owner blew FFP out of the water from Jan onward in their promotion season, since been handed a fine, Leicesters case was recently resolved too
  20. I'm sure I read in the Daily Record Brighton showed interest some time ago but never firmed it up. There only really seems to be Celtic looking at him, be surprised if Lawwell increases his offer, he's a stubborn sort and runs a very tight financial ship.
