  1. The idea of involving fans in kit design seems like a logical idea but when your design of kit is not chosen human nature kicks in and some fans will simply not buy on principal. Fans will have too many ideas that you wont please everyone but will alienate others. Again ..human nature. Let the club/supplier design them for me..'thats the shirt lads ..like it or lump it' !.. most fans end up with their blue n white spex on and slowly fall in love with most shirt designs when they see it in the flesh ..on the players ..on tv ..down the pub etc ..
  2. Ah sorry Gav ..hadnt realised you d already posted them ! You not reckon the lad to the right of the lad with the pullover around his neck possibly Will ..?
  3. Just for clarification Crimp ..NOT my photographs !!!..but i wish they were !! Sorry!! Bike mad the Bunnymen ..even Will !
  4. Pete de Freitas and Les Pattinson rocking up at King Georges Hall on their motorbikes for an Echo And The Bunnymen gig 15th July 1983 .Pictures taken at the back of the Hall as they do a bit of maintenance on their bikes before they do the gig ..like rock stars do ..
  5. Yep . Unthinkable but hello reality ..who d have thought Bournemouth could go all the way to the PL with a ground capacity of 12000 ? No gimmes any more 47!!
  6. Completely agree 47 ..on that side theres no argument. The school kids shirts. etc ..simple but pro active. Rovers should take note. But some trying to compare Stanley with Rovers doing this and that with training grounds in order highlight whats going on at Brockhall. No comparison.
  7. Yep ..Stanley have been using King Georges for a while ..absolute nightmare place to play football for all those non league/ school players that had to play up there...especially in winter ! We re hardly talking "Brockhall" developments here with King Georges and to be fair its about time the pitch finally sorted out. (The cracking pitch literally next door Hollins school used wasnt called "Little Wembley " for nothing !) Stanley only leasing the pitches for 30 hours a week. Shame the planned training ground fell through down at Read.
  8. Yes but for Hyndburn community to use . Grass roots football etc . Not for the Club.
  9. Completely agree ..as ST holders im sure we ve all had that Tuesday night feeling of .."shall i shant i" but go due to the so called logic ive paid for my ticket. May as well flatten Riverside if this is the route the EFL is going .
  10. Cant see clubs agreeing to this somehow .. EFL examining prospect of continuing with pay-per-view for home matches after fans return to grounds | Daily Mail Online
  11. At least if we re on Sky game SHOULD go ahead ..pitch going to get a right hammering weather wise today !
  12. Yes he did ..more on the lines of how long (length of time) he actually had got to build a team . Very fortunate. Curtis Davies also put the boot in last night too when asked how Derby stopped the rot in terms of how Rovers could ..by changing manager!
  13. Not trying to defend the figures Matty but dont forget the Watford game was on the Red button and im sure lots of Rovers fans subscribe to Sky so would nt take up the I Follow . I didnt. I d like to see figures from fellow Championship clubs to see just how we compere figure wise .
  14. Just read that myself ..dear oh dear oh dear ..red rag to a bull that interview !
  15. You re right ..Hughes probably does see himself as an ambitious manager and thats the point im making .. i think he would only consider a PL job. Hence walking away from 'little old Fulham' ..which back fired straight away. I also said he didnt have a bad record, its more Hughes' own thought in where he stands in the managerial pecking order.. ..so hardly 'gaslighting'. He maybe needs to lower his sights a bit. As for Bielsa and Nuno they came into English football and had to start at Championship level and did superb. Hughes maybe thinks hes already done his apprenticeship with managing only PL clubs . Anyway hes certainly back looking for work ..never off TV along with Cowley, Monk and Poyet recently, all putting themselves back in the shop window. As for our owners matching Hughes ' ambitions.. simple answer ..no.
  16. I dont think its a case of being painted as a bad manager although his record aint great albeit in the PL its possibly the fact he s not managed in the Championship which is a totally different kettle of fish with limited funds .Walking away from Fulham whilst still in the PL for better things probably says more about Hughes than his actual managerial record.
  17. Any reason why in three years no ones took him on ? Lots of Championship sides have shifted their manager ? Hughes no interest in Championship ?
