  1. He started one game just after his loan started, & then came off the bench in the next. He was then absent from their squad entirely for the rest of his loan spell https://fc-utd.co.uk/players/joe-boggan
  2. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/december/14/-it-means-a-lot-to-get-far----joseph/ https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/december/14/-a-dream-come-true----harvey/
  3. Whilst he will be on a lot of money for Rovers, his pay will be less than what he could achieve at more than 15 other Championship clubs.
  4. It would be But it will not happen We no longer pay the going rate for proven/established Championship players
  5. San Diego have named Duru in what I presume is the American equivalent of a retained list. Which I will assume means that they will not be ending his loan early next month
  6. His goal record in this country suggests he is equally bad in both boxes
  7. "Todd, can we discuss your contract? How would you feel about halving your salary?" Discussions had
  8. but those options all have bigger appearance bonuses, win bonus, clean sheet bonuses etc than De Neve 😉 Best they save a few quid eh? Also, playing De Neve means you are not paying out win bonuses or clean sheet bonuses to anyone, even more dosh saved.... everybody wins, well only if everybody is Venkys/Gestede/Pasha
  9. They much prefer forcing the managers hand so that they walk, or better yet, either find another club, so that they can get some compo, or offer to buy out their own contract to escape
  10. Something for you to do on Monday then 😉 Have a few more, make sure to include Gestede & Pasha, lol
  11. The only one of those he brought in was Gallagher, Graham was already here on loan and then signed on a free, so pretty sure that the legwork was done in advance for that one Apart from that, Mulgrew was good, Derrick Williams was ok, then it was rubbish like Stokes, Byrne, Samuelsson, Hendrie, a past it Wes Brown, Greer, Feeney Those signings look like the domestic equivalent of this summers signings, some good, most average at best
  12. pretty sure it does 😉 In Gestede's world at least
  13. Did you sack Gestede?
  14. Can we change the thread title, to "The great many needs, & even greater disappointments of the January transfer window"?
  15. Has been playing as the lone forward in a 4-2-3-1 for the past 2 months Was playing as part of a strike partnership in a 3-5-2 for the first part of the season under the previous manager I thought I would ask in their forum how they think he is getting on
  16. and yet they cant even get a new contract sorted for him, that shows just how low the wages we are offering are
  17. That will will be true of every player in the first team squad, given the passage of time 😉 The downgrade continues
  18. Its up https://www.rovers.co.uk/live/0_q3cypct5
  19. Question for those watching via Rovers website Is it just me who when clicking "watch live" on the site, it just refreshes the screen?
  20. I imagine that De Neve is in because he offers pace on the break & Ribeiro offers very little as a wing back Given De Neve starts, Ribeiro makes more sense than Pratt to cover for De Neves lack of positional awareness down our left TGH is average at best, runs around a lot but no positional sense, hopefully Cantwell & Morishita can provide some creativity in midfield Can only think Tavares is in because Ismael thinks he has more discipline than TGH as the deepest of the 3 midfielders (also possible TGH still carrying a knock after the tackle at the end of the first half the other night)
  21. Agree with that although based on his goal return at PL2 level, his correct current level is the U21s 3 goals in 3 this season 4 goals in 7 last season
  22. He cant (legally speaking at least) sign a pre contract with another English side until the final month of his deal (its the final 6 months of his deal if he went to any other country) Not that I am disputing that he may well end up at another English side
  23. I may be splitting hairs, but for the majority of the game, last night, Rovers looked to be playing more a 4-3-3 than a 4-2-3-1. Pre match, I had expected Tyjon to be the "10", but he looked to be one of two "8s" (sorry to those who hate the numbers thing), and quite often the other "8" Vare was more advanced than Tyjon. But how deep he was looked to be tactical rather than an individual choice (maybe that's the impression created from me watching on stream rather than live in person?) Tyjon did seem to push up more as the game got towards its closing stages and Rovers were chasing the winner
