  1. according to AI, so it may well be rubbish Accumulation Thresholds Remain: The thresholds for suspension (e.g., 5 yellow cards by a certain point in the season in the Premier League) remain the same. The player who received a caution in the abandoned match is one card closer to the threshold and risks suspension in future games, including the replayed fixture.
  2. I imagine this line of thinking would be in line with highlighting the ownership issues to the FA/EFL/wider football world until it can no longer be ignored, and Venkys are "forced" to sod off, rather than just wanting to see their own club punished. Without a Sheff Wed/Chansiri style crash out, we look to be stuck with Venkys forever, & I imagine most would take the short term pain in exchange for being rid of them and having the chance to recover, as we will never succeed with this lot in charge & will continue to slowly sink at a pace which causes no real waves so can be ignored by the EFL/FA etc
  3. and extra yellow cards/more chance of suspension to Alebiosu, Pratt & Forshaw, all of which still count
  4. Rochdale set to move home games to rebuild pitch And that's a fan owned club in the National League, who had major financial problems less than 2 years ago. Not a Championship club with alleged billionaire owners
  5. The annual Rovers manager resignation day isn't until a couple of weeks into February, giving enough time for them to stew after a the broken promises surrounding a failed January transfer window before then sorting out an exit strategy
  6. They have big roller sponges out on the pitch Its like putting a plaster on an amputated leg
  7. Nicely decorated tree, someone put in a lot of effort there 😉
  8. Saving that before you can edit it 😉
  9. That is the bar for any backup keeper at this level, with the exception of a few more monied up clubs I have no issue with Pears as a backup, he is almost certainly better than whoever replaces him when he leaves. Where I would have a problem, is if/when Toth is sold, Pears is touted as the new first choice
  10. He was a pressing forward in his first loan spell at Motherwell, no lack of work there (less so in his second spell, mainly because he was constantly injured). I actually wonder if his ability to press the opposition defence was hampered by multiple injuries, leading to him having to preserve his energy/body. As it happens, he lasted less than a month at his new club before another lengthy injury (on his first start, after 3 appearances off the bench)
  11. So it may be another Cantwellesc 2 months out with a knock then?
  12. What actually is his injury? They normally say "knee", "ankle" etc, this one just seems to be defined as "an injury", which seems rather nebulous
  13. Trying to apply logic here, but maybe the original terms a little too high for Rovers, which would surprise nobody, so they are chancing their luck to see if Birmingham will accept one or a combination of a lower overall fee payment structured over a longer time add on's/sell on changed Also, given his alleged wage at Birmingham is around the £20K/week mark, maybe they are seeing if Birmingham will pay half for the duration of his contract. I think we know what the answer will be there Personally I wouldn't bother, runs around a lot, doesn't do much
  14. Obviously, a year or 2 down the line, these obscure recruits may well (at least in some cases) progress and become experienced Championship performers with the required "know how" to close out games. Unfortunately, by that point, they will be wanting Championship level wages befitting their stature, which Venkys/Pasha/Rudy/the club will not offer, so the process will be repeated ad nauseum
  15. Not sure if he is "fit", but Carter is now back on the grass
  16. A week or so after the event, but not sure if I have seen these anywhere else before today
  17. Starts this weekend for O'Riordan - won 2-1 - FA Cup game - played the full game - Connor O'Riordan 7 - Similar to McGrath, he was diligent in what he had to do and made some vital headers at vital times. Edmondson - won 3-1 aet - FA Cup game - played the full game - scored to make it 2-1 Wood - drew 1-1 - replaced on 91 minutes with the score at 1-1 On the bench - Not involved in matchday squad Olson & O'Grady-Macken - lost 3-1 - FA Cup game Farkas - lost 2-0 Boggan - lost 2-1 Sergeant - won 3-1 - has now played his last game unless his loan is extended No game this weekend Duru Barrett Wolsoncroft - loan ended earlier this week
  18. The club was losing money before the Walker family sold the club, and was the main reason for selling. The Venkys should have a statue outside the ground. The supporters have now benefited by £212 million pounds. And the club is still losing money. This endless harping about Venkys ruining the club is ridiculous. Look at Sheffield Wednesday if you want to look at the ruinious ownership of a club. Blackburn Rovers, with gates as they are, is unsaleable at any price. No one would be daft enough to take it on. And there are more, that was just one of the more demented posts
  19. Every manager since Coyle has been sack proof
  20. they were allocated 3000, not sure if sold out https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2025/november/22/ticket-details--blackburn-v-wednesday/
  21. Id fancy him over De Neve, & he would be a better fit at wing back (pace, energy, intensity & attack minded) than Ribeiro or Pickering Would be another feather in the cap of the Chorley loan pipeline too, he spent some time there last season
