  1. That was the only highlight from what was one of the worst seasons in history. Thankfully Souness took a machete to that squad and built up a proper team the year after and got the job done.
  2. Charles Mingus - Goodbye Pork Pie Hat
  3. A proper Rovers fan wouldn't have left.😎
  4. I just don't give a fuck about them because they're a complete nothing club. Maybe it's a bit of envy also, Wharton should be celebrating winning the FA Cup with Rovers but thanks to the chicken overlords any opportunities for anything like that have been extinguished. Deliberately.
  5. You need a shred of dignity to be ashamed. Venkys don't have that.
  6. The deal hasn't benefited the club whatsoever and it never will. I for one, am glad they sold him on the cheap.
  7. The frustrating thing about Roberts was that he spent a lot of time on his arse, which was strange given that he could just bulldoze any defenders in the world when he wanted to. I still enjoyed having him here.
  8. Yeah but that's apples and oranges, no way can Rovers ever compare to the mighty Livingston. Nobody would buy this club, get real man.
  9. But I thought people would only lose their jobs if venkys left?
  10. Great stuff. Another cultural landmark being closed down so some piece of shit investors can steal even more wealth from society. Disgusting. Where are the riots against this sort of thing happening? Where's the outrage over actual British culture being annihilated for the sake of greed?
  11. I hate Leyton Orient. All they had to do was win one game and send the dingles out of the league all together and they fucked it up. I wish a plague upon them for all eternity.
  12. The lack of self awareness on display here is really something to behold.
  13. So basically they've extended the window by six days to accommodate the biggest and wealthiest clubs.
  14. That was entirely the objective. Previously, a shit season could see you down and someone (although it was still very difficult) could go on a blinder and win the whole thing. Absolutely not a chance of either of those things happening now. Even shit small clubs like palace and Everton are safe no matter how shit they are because there will always be three teams that are just completely gash. That's before you even start getting into the complete lack of atmosphere and passion from the attendees.
  15. It also puts to bed the sour grapes bollocks from the red scum about "if we'd have beaten west ham we'd have won" No, if we'd have beaten west ham it wouldn't have mattered either way. At the end of the season we had more points because we were the better team.
  16. If the Women's team had more investment and backing to get into the top tier then maybe they would attract bigger crowds. Just a thought 🤔
  17. TBF that's nothing new. We didn't get much tangible social change until the suffrage movement started gaining momentum. Whether or not many people watched the women's team, they are Rovers all the same and any true Rovers fan should be disgusted by this.
  18. He'll be missed by me that's for sure. He can certainly be inconsistent, but of he wasn't then he'd likely be playing in the division above. Always a solid worker and on his day could pull off some great stuff. I seriously doubt he'll be replaced by someone even half as good.
  19. By this brain dead logic, a life long Blackburn Ender shouldn't give a toss about them closing the Riverside down, which they inevitably will. Whether you watch the women's team or not is irrelevant, it's the disgusting behaviour and treatment of this club by its current custodians. If you don't understand that that is the point here then just stay out of the discussion less you make even more of a fool of yourself.
