  1. I remember Ayala having to go up front against Luton a year or two back when Gally got chinned off the ball. He made Chis Samba look like Haaland. The bloke can’t even run.
  2. Madness. They do what we had drummed into us never to do. For obvious reasons.
  3. I’ve seen all those teams play at Spotland ( now the Crown Oil Arena ) with the exception of Gateshead.
  4. Charlie Rich - Behind Closed Doors
  5. I wouldn’t be in the slightest bit surprised if JDT left in Summer. I would be surprised if he left to join Leeds though. If we were a normal club run by normal people I wouldn’t be too bent out of shape. After all we appointed Ken Furphy, Gordon Lee, Jim Smith, Howard Kendall back in the day. All poached away by First Division clubs. Even Bobby Saxton and Don McKay did well for us with not much. Only Jim Iley was a Chicken Choker style flop appointment. The trouble with the current management is we’re just as likely to get a Owen Coyle mk 2 style appointment as we are likely to get an improvement on JDT.
  6. Arthur Alexander - Soldier Of Love
  7. Little Anthony And The Imperials - Gonna Fix You Good
  8. Rick Springfield- Jessie’s Girl
  9. Portman Road isn’t a happy hunting ground for Rovers. I can’t recall many wins there.
  10. Whoever wrote that obviously hasn’t seen us play.
  11. I can’t see any parallels there to be honest. He might be being “ considered “ but I’d be amazed if he actually got the job.
  12. The Coasters - Idol With The Golden Head
  13. Bobby Bland - Ain’t No Love In The Heart Of The City
  14. I could see a bit of something in JRC between all the injuries. Vale, I struggle with. Having said I was looking at the lad Bradshaw’s playing history. Not exactly stellar as a young player. Same goes for Jerry Yates at Blackpool.
  15. John Lee Hooker - Crawling King Snake
  16. We were looking at Yates a year or two ago.
  17. That’s a brilliant result. Well done to all concerned. It was essential that we stayed in this division.
  18. It’s a long way to Bangkok. The view isn’t always great.
  19. The header against Everton was a cracker. The lad kept us up no doubt about that. It would have been great if we’d have signed the equivalent last January.
  20. Chris Clark - From Head To Toe
  21. Looks like it. I don’t remember the game.
  22. The Rolling Stones - Bye, Bye Johnny
